It's interesting how different a room can feel with only the slightest of changes. Whether it was the lack of sunlight that came with the evening, the indoor lights being dimmed, or how much quieter the place was when it was almost empty save for a few. The atmosphere gave the same sense as a warm blanket tossed over you on a cold day. It certainly clashed with the outspoken boisterous places he tended towards.
Tomorrow would be a normal day again but for now, it was nice to mix things up and be someone else today. As the gentleman came around to the counter Tipson gave his best charming smile, and the smile even grew a bit when the man showed his recollection of Tipson "Ah well, I knew there was a chance of that. I spent too much time today in a library. This was a promised reward to myself and I have to say after staring at a book that long a good drink feels a necessity. A new pastry as a tasty additional treat."
Tipson rested his wrists on the counter, adding in, "You have an excellent memory by the way. I've been in here a few times but I didn't expect someone to remember what I enjoyed." Tipson's smile turned lopsided, "I bet you pick up quickly on anything new you're learning." For all the young man never made true friends he certainly enjoyed being friendly with most everyone. Not only was it fun but also good both in his being a thief and you never know when you are talking to some freak with anger issues. Tipson sincerely doubted this fellow was one of them though. Tipson was looking at a man that seemed quite formal and well-composed.
Back to the matter at hand, "Of your stocks what do you think would go best with the pastry? I expect you'd know better than I." Tipson shrugged to reflect his own ignorance.
