The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

With one hundred floors and a 125-foot spire, the Starlight Tower rises high above the Sacrosanct skyline. More than just a landmark, the Starlight Tower offers a unique mix of restaurants, shops, and offices spaced throughout the building. Organized into nine verticle zones, each of which features a sky lobby and a light-filled garden atrium which merge the upscale interior with a faux landscaped exterior setting.
Chizue made every effort to steer the conversation away from the topic she most certainly had no desire to discuss - that of her past life and the stardom stolen from her by her transformation. Her life, this past decade, was filled with kidnappings that still haunted her, one way or another. It was rare that any individual might be cursed with being taken against their will...but twice? And in such a short period of time? A shudder ran down her spine at the thoughts that threatened to pull her under, her teenage demeanor almost desperate for any sort of distraction that might bring that rush of endorphins once again. She rose swiftly from her seat, urging the man beside her to accompany her on her window shopping. It wasn't as if money was lacking for the young woman - her bills were largely cared for by her coven's creator whilst she stayed in the woman's old townhome. Her various assets purchased at the height of her career were still passively drawing income for her and yet...her current company hardly seemed like the type to enjoy all that came with a real shopping trip. The idea was one he all but confirmed moment's later as he admitted that any sort of shopping was all but...foreign to him. That part of his life was one he apparently outsourced to someone else.
It was so peculiar, the idea of anyone doing shopping entirely for anyone else. Even she never left that entirely to someone else. Her curiosity only seemed to further baffle the man as he insisted, once again, that he truly never shopped for himself. Online shopping was apparently far worse than visiting the stores that surrounded them. His explanation was understandable, she supposed, though the stylist's she had never really provided her options so much as informed the group of girls that this was what they were wearing regardless of how comfortable or easy to move in it was. His question hardly helped the girl's thoughts from drifting as her shoulders lifted in a vague shrug. "I used to." She answered, though she hardly felt the need to expand upon what had changed. Once upon a time, it had been fun when the girls of her group would venture into the mall together. They used to do everything together. They'd spent so much time practicing, touring...it had become almost natural to simply find comfort in each other's presence. But now...now she was on the outside while they continued to rise in popularity with her replacement.
The mention of Oliver's sister was a welcomed distraction, one she was quick to seize onto as she inquired after the girl. It was unfortunate that she lived overseas. It might have been nice to meet her...someday. Nevertheless, a warm smile fluttered across her features as she nodded, "Sometimes the best visits are the ones least expected." She added sagely, even as she led them at a meandering pace through the mall. He remained at her side, matching her pace even as she peered through the store fronts in vague curiosity. Chizue was hardly prepared for Oliver to lean closer towards her, his words a soft rumble in her ear that jerked her from her idle thoughts. She jumped, a small, embarrassed smile tugging at the corners of her features as she answered his inquiry with the mention of a peacoat several stores back that had caught her eye for a moment. Chizue was quick to turn her inquiry back upon him, though Oliver's answer was....vague at best. Her brow rose and yet, before she could press him on what had interested him, he suggested trying the jacket on. Her head tilted to the side as she glanced back the way they'd come - the store still entirely in view. "Well...it kind of does defeat the purpose but...I suppose there's no rule saying we have to only window shop." She admitted. "..but if I try it on then you have to tell me what caught your eye." She added, her lithe figure swaying on the tips of her toes as she turned on her feet to guide him back to the store in question.
Chizue hardly wasted time in looking at the other items in the shop, after all she'd already come to the realization that her present company preferred a more...direct approach to life. "Here it is!" She announced to Oliver as she paused in front of a navy blue jacket. Her fingers reached up towards the tag, only to frown. Her fingers moved deftly down the rack, checking the tags of each jacket assembled before her. "....I don't think they have it in my size." Chizue muttered after a moment, only to sigh in lament. It was such a cute jacket too!
