The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Sitting on a chair, far away from Nadya's chair as possible, the young woman would fold her arms in front of her- a clear display that she did not want to be here. Blue-grey eyes hardened as she averted her eyes and focused the cheerful border that surrounded the walls of the room. She knew full and well how Nadya thought of her. Her presence was never wanted or approved of. The panther did not want her in the pack, had even attempted to sway the lupine into believing her own brother wasn't genuine on the offer. There was a reason why she did not throw herself on her back and expose her throat to the feline- she did not trust her nor respect her. The lick on her face was a half-submission. What Raven had told Nadya and Tobi was a lie, a lie that she didn't feel she needed to explain herself. If Nadya was to be a second then she needed to trust the word of her Brother- he was Alpha, and what he said goes. Even though she was an ostracized member within her own pack she at least had a clear understanding on the rule and laws- even if some of them were stupid. Now that Nadya was stuck in a vulnerable position it was no surprise to Raven that Nadya would give her a quick glance. A small huff escaped her mouth as she simply turned her head away allowing the nurse to proceed with whatever she had to do. Only when the woman cooed at the revelation that Nadya was carrying not one, but two cubs, did that cause her head to turn and see the screen. Pink lips pursed together in a disappointing manner. Looking at the frozen screen, at the small grey forms huddled together, it caused the girls heart to ache...fully believing now that either Tetradore would influence the boy to end his endeavors with her and focus on his Sister and his cubs. Only Nadya's rushed movements caused the young girl to lose her train of thought. The panic that was oozing from the Mother was distracting and distasteful. Getting up slowly she would march herself over standing in front of Nadya and her pathway to the door. Her hands would firmly grasp Nadya's shoulder, as if to make her stand in place, her voice carrying a soft authoritative tone- attempting to sound like the voice of reason.
"No. You will stay, because you need to listen to the nurse's direction. You need to learn and understand what you need to do, because her words are going to carry more weight than a book. You are carrying cubs, lives that you will always protect, and right now you need to protect them from yourself- from your fear."
Indeed should Nadya continue this route of being afraid and nervous her stress and fear would affect the cubs within her. Slowly her hands would let go of the woman's shoulder and then gently clasp both hands into one of Nadyas' hand. A gentle reassuring squeeze was given to the she-cat, as she gently led the girl back to the chair, standing beside her. For a moment those long nimble fingers would gently stroke the top of Nadya's hand, a similar method used on Tobi, noticing how much he liked being touched. Perhaps it was a cat thing when they enjoyed their hands or paws being rubbed for a moment or two. Stony colored eyed held a gentle look in them as she found the deep brown pools that belonged to the Hispanic soon to be Mother. This time around her voice was much softer, gentler, being strangely supportive for the woman that had slept with the boy she had fancied.
"You are not alone. It does not matter what your brother thinks about this or what Tobi thinks. I may not be enough, but I am here...and we will get through this one way or another â€" together."
That feline and wolf would be able to stand on solid ground seemed impossible for these two. These cubs were not hers. They never would be. Yet the wolf's instincts was slowly overriding the jealously she had for Nadya. Pack was pack, no matter the species. As the lowliest rank member, and her species need to survive, it was her role to take care of the Mother and the cubs. In this moment promising Nadya that she would be of whatever service the girl needed from her. The nurse, still quiet in this moment, stepped forward holding a gentle smile as she looked at the two speaking in an excited manner.
"Would it help to know the genders of the twins? Shopping always soothed me when I was nervous or afraid about things."
