East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

In retrospect, the young oriental woman had certainly considered the absurdity of skipping up to a perfect stranger and asking to be seated. Internally she was horrified by the ease at which those thoughts of her latest vampire companion slipped from her lips. It was, at times, as if there was some great impenetrable distance between the persona that was entirely hers and the one she took from her latest feast. It was like a battle of Jekyll and Hyde within the tiny girl only her Jekyll never won out in the end. She was far to submissive, far too cowardly, and much to timid to ever beat out those stronger, more passionate traits that she seemed to acquire. Perhaps she needed to change her feeding habits. Chizue was considering this exact thing when the auburn woman across from her acquiesced to her request, even though Chizue was already settled comfortably within the seat across from her. Before the young girl knew it, she was leaning forward, her chin resting on the palm of her hand as she intently studied the woman across from her with large chocolate eyes. There was the softest of whispered upon her lips, admitting a secret that surely would have answered many of the questions bubbling beneath the service, if not creating it's fair share of more inquisitive thoughts.

Chizue didn't immediately answer to the young auburn haired vampire's inquiry, instead falling to silence with a pleased simper upon her youthful features as she watched the female work out exactly who she had been referring too without the asian woman offering even the whispered hint of his name. Her head bobbed ever so slightly in a manner that was perhaps more enthusiastic then necessary, "Mmhm!" She declared before stilling once again, watching in an inquisitive fashion as the female across from he seemed entirely baffled by this new found discovery of their shared patriarch - much less that he had so freely spoken so fondly of the woman. Her head tilted to the side at the voiced measure of astonishment held within her companion's soprano lyrics and yet, Chizue could offer only the smallest of shrugs of a reply. "You know..." She started slowly in a fashion that held infinite wisdom, "People say 'I love you' in a lot of ways, sometimes without ever saying those words." For a girl who had never experienced love, she certainly managed to have a fair amount of insight in it. Chizue blamed it on the books she read though more often then not they ended in a 'happily ever after' - the same kind she hoped her new found friends might one day hold.

The young vampire could easily identify the curiosity resting deep within those bright eyes that stared so intently at her, bringing an easy simper back towards the female's lips. "He says you're amazing and that you always see the good in others." She replied easily, pausing just enough to contemplate just how much she wanted her companion to know before the girl continued, "He doesn't think he's worth you, you know." She added with a firm nod. Chizue had noted the bitterness within his eyes, she had noted the way he seemed to frown when he discussed the woman's ability to see potential any everyone - even those who surely had none such as himself. She had tried to perk him up - really she had but in the end Chizue figured that it was perhaps only Isolt herself that might be able to mend those unvoiced insecurities.
