The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Sebastian EllingtonI need to feel you again, feel my lips on your skin
for one night I could be him, no, I could be better
Despite Sebastian's rather adept observations of the shift in the young woman in front of her, he had to admit that she was entirely correct in assuming that he was nearly identical as the creature he had been nearly a month prior. While the auburn haired girl had begun to thrive in the afterlife, Sebastian remained as stagnant as he had been for nearly a century and a half. A small shrug crossed the Englishman's shoulders though he was hardly perturbed by the simple fact of how dormant he and his world had become. In fact, Sebastian remained entirely good natured as he had been prior to her arrival, his head dipping ever so slightly in the process. "Isolt, it is." He responded simply, a small, charming grin crossing his masculine features. His head tilted to the side ever so slightly as Sebastian's crystalline gaze followed the woman around the bar, his husky tones of inquisitiveness still lingering in the air between them. He was intrigued that such a tentative creature was so eager to open such an establishment as this, even more so that it catered to their kind. After all, it wasn't as if tavern patrons weren't incapable of being a surly bunch.
His eyes shifted towards the enigmatic bottle that she held poised within her porcelain fingertips, the all too knowing simper upon her sweet heart lips coaxed to the man as much as the slowly swirling liquid that could only just be seen behind the ebony tinted glass. She had certainly managed to intrigue the man and, perhaps for once, he was willing to engage her in this drink she had once invited him to - even if at the time she had vanished just as quickly thereafter. Gingerly, with the lovers touch that he surely possessed, Sebastian plucked the bottle off the bar top to slowly undo the top, his nose sniffing at the contents to not the ever present sent of blood - matched with smells that he could not place at all. It was the downside to being dead for so long. Many of the American fusions of foods from across the planet had never before touched his palette. Victorian English food had consisted more of sausages, cheeses and fishes rather then delectable spiced goods from the ornate. His eyebrow pitched upwards ever so slightly as his gaze shifted back towards her and yet, he hardly showed hesitance in lifting the offered bottle to his lips, carefully pouring just a bit into his parted mouth as to not have his pale ivory flesh stained crimson.
Sebastian savored the taste in a studious fashion, dissecting every facet of it. It certainly had it's own appeal to it, even if it wasn't tinted with the passion that so lined his usual meals. It was different then anything he ever had â€" then again, so was she. His attention turned slowly towards her as the man licked his lips, a small shrug crossing his shoulders at her inquiry. "Rumors had that this place was new - and owned by our kind. I came only to look." He replied, a small mysterious grin upon his lips. It was true that Sebastian generally tended to stick to himself and his own world of ever changing isolation. That hardly meant, however, that the man didn't make some effort to at least know the going ons of the his species and the world they inhabited. Would he come back - perhaps. But not for her patrons. Oh no, her waitresses maybe but the singular item of interest within the entire Tavern for the salacious man was the vampire mistress herself.
