East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

He had noticed the girl almost instantly, though not for her shyness or the manner in which her nervousness seemed to bleed from her in a way almost palpable to his sharp animalistic senses. Her hair is near as white as his own, that stark, snowy colour drawing what was visible of his strangely violet gaze from beneath his own thickened locks to rest upon her. His attention lifted from the aged book within his lap. It was dusty, old, worn- pilfered from Alexander's shelves of treasures that littered the walls of the odd little coffee house and yet truly Frost hardly cared if the hunter objected to his use of the object, fingers tapping softly against the worn binding as his interest fixated upon the delicate little creature before him. It was unfortunate, truly, that she wore the scent of human, any belief she may have hailed from his own country instantly subsided and yet his curiosity existed still as he watched her. She was flighty, insecure- flinching away from the waitress as if she feared being struck like a nervous filly at the hands of a breaker, a soft snort emitted as he watched her settle at last in the far corner.

He does not care particularly for the plight of others, unless it is advantageous to himself to do so- for all his faults the equine was hardly a foolish creature, his thoughts inclined to be careful, calculating, as easily attuned to weakness and vulnerability as any predator has ever been and yet he is so often underestimated by those around him. They see his youth, else they see his animal form and dismiss him for little more then a beast of burden born to offer pony rides in the park, else created to be no more then fodder for the fangs f the beats he had been trained to fight at so early an age. It is a mistake so many make and yet it is one he is inclined to allow. To be underestimated is an advantage after all, the man more than capable of twisting near any situation at will and to better suit his own pleasure should he desire it. For now however he is merely amused by this little girl, near his own age, a little younger perhaps, fiddling with something upon her wrist.

He rises smoothly from his position, lithe, toned frame silent as he does- the only other Were within the coffee house, a deer of some kind he suspects from the scent, hurriedly averting her gaze in submission as he does. Were's after all, are so well attuned to the Alpha's among them, human kind far less capable in this regard and as such he expects little of her at his approach. He steps neatly around her table, coming to stand before her now, lashings of white hair shielding much of his gaze from view as the steel chain about his neck finds a glint within the light of the Sanctum as he pauses to allow his gaze to drift to her wrist and the banding that seems to exist across it.

"áhugavert."

The word is muttered smoothly between his lips, deep, masculine vocals slipped softly into the air in his native tongue though he does not believe the woman will understand- his own hand extended suddenly forward until his unusually heated fingertips grace the skin here momentarily.

"This- I have not seen before."

His hand lingers a moment longer before withdrawing, offering no apologies for the invasion of her space before he steps back, offering that space now once more as he regards her again, arms moving now to fold over his chest- foot easily pulling back the chair opposite her as he seats himself- eyes briefly noting the sugar cubes on her table before returning his gaze to her.

"I haven't seen you in here before, what drove you to sanctuary today then, hmm?"

It is merely a play on the name of the place itself inner Sanctum. Sanctuary. Though truly Frost had never much understood Alexander's reasoning behind it, one eye lifted expectantly now, handsome features inclined towards her.
