The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

With one hundred floors and a 125-foot spire, the Starlight Tower rises high above the Sacrosanct skyline. More than just a landmark, the Starlight Tower offers a unique mix of restaurants, shops, and offices spaced throughout the building. Organized into nine verticle zones, each of which features a sky lobby and a light-filled garden atrium which merge the upscale interior with a faux landscaped exterior setting.
The were-creature's relationship with his sibling was a difficult one to say the least, despite the man's rather protective nature of the young woman. He had a fierce need to safeguard her from whatever life threw at them, and yet, despite all of this, he was all too able to see that some aspects of her nature were all together domineering. It was a part of her that he'd been on the receiving end of the first few months the two had found each other once again. His eyebrows furrowed as he listened to the young woman's efforts to explain just how she had felt about her circumstances, hardly needing to read between the lines to learn that there was far more to this event then she had first been letting on. "I suppose." He commented simply at the girl's insistence that at least she had a place to live. A building to sleep in was never particularly high on Tetradore's list of needs and so the man hardly saw this as any great achievement. However, he hardly felt the need to voice his own checkered past, instead falling into that same comfortable silence as he allowed the young woman to continue her considered thought process. For a moment, the male regarded her, answering her difficulties with her fairy coworkers with little more then a grunt.
Never the less, his thoughts hadn't particularly strayed, despite the momentary change in subject from the club and her species to her own personal power. He suspected she was hardly regaling him with the entirety of her aptitude though he hardly faulted her from such, after all it wasn't as if he had any inclination to spell out every intricate detail of his own capabilities. Still, the man's own emotional state had receded back into that simple indifference as she made the effort to explain her own difficulties with attempting to expand her powers, or at least to gain any real footing on any of them. It was enough to cause a soft sigh to leave his lips and the rather unwanted sensation of obligation over took him. It was perhaps the one downfall to being an Alpha. He had that undesired weight upon his shoulders - one that usually extended only to the weres that he took any real interest within. However, he had shoved her into this situation at his siblings club and for the moment he suspected that by some regard it was his responsibility too to ensure that she had found her footing - especially if her own maker had failed to do so entirely.
He was considering this very feat when the girl began to speak of her preference for his own emotional state, one that pulled his attention from his wayward thoughts and back towards her. For a moment, his emerald green gaze watched the fashion at which her cheeks begun to fill with the same pinkish hue and yet it failed to provoke the same amused emotion from him as it had the last time. Instead, his fingertips reached up, running his hand through his dark brunette locks as the man leaned back in his chair. His head shook ever so slightly in disagreement, voicing to her that which he had never really spoke of to anyone before, "It is emotionless." He responded in a fashion that was all together blunt. However, he hardly lingered on the hows and whys, instead forcing the conversation to shift elsewhere. "We can't help you with the fairy world. It's one neither my sister or I have ever had any dealings with. You might want to look into finding a Monarch, they would be more willing to answer your questions and help you get accustomed to this new life. In the mean time though, I know a vampire or witch or two that I could introduce you to if you want to test your power on them. It'd be beneficial for you to learn how to distinguish between the races. It will help you know when you're in danger." There was a small shrug on the man's bare shoulders as he glanced upwards at her, having decided that he'd all together finished his plate of pancakes.
