The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

With one hundred floors and a 125-foot spire, the Starlight Tower rises high above the Sacrosanct skyline. More than just a landmark, the Starlight Tower offers a unique mix of restaurants, shops, and offices spaced throughout the building. Organized into nine verticle zones, each of which features a sky lobby and a light-filled garden atrium which merge the upscale interior with a faux landscaped exterior setting.
People come and go at the party, some starting up conversations at the bar and others sticking to themselves as if waiting for someone to notice them. Of course I only look up when a certain vampire walks through the door. I didn't notice him come through the front door so does that mean he slipped in somewhere else? I probably just wasn't paying attention when he came in. The drink is a little strong, after all and I've been taking constant sips to keep myself looking busy. It's only a matter of time before it starts to take effect.
That's when a sudden approach of a hand catches me off guard. I even jump a little as I glance up to see who the hand belongs to. "Davante?" I ask in question, staring up into his expression as if trying to recognize him. "Are those...real?" I ask of his fangs, reaching out a finer as if to touch them before thinking better of it. Okay so maybe the drink is starting to take effect. I even giggle softly when I realize what I was doing, pulling my hand back to put it gently into his own. I nod to his words, my face falling a little when he says that he has to find someone named Damon. I think that was the name on the invitation. I tilt my head as I stand. "So you know the guy who owns this place?"
I glance back toward my drink almost reluctantly as I go with him to the dance floor. "There's definitely plenty of drink to go around."I giggle a little again before looking back at him. I watch as he gets his own drink and then turns back to me. My eyes widen as he speaks, glancing at his drink before I whisper slyly. "You sure you want a cold drink or should it be a little warmer for your taste tonight?" I giggle afterwards, bringing my free hand to my mouth as I tease him about his costume. Okay, so I'm dressed as a vampire too but whatever. I glance up sheepishly suddenly, listening to the music. Biting my lip, I look back at him. "How exactly do we dance to this? I've only ever really danced around a fire...not exactly the same thing."
