The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

With one hundred floors and a 125-foot spire, the Starlight Tower rises high above the Sacrosanct skyline. More than just a landmark, the Starlight Tower offers a unique mix of restaurants, shops, and offices spaced throughout the building. Organized into nine verticle zones, each of which features a sky lobby and a light-filled garden atrium which merge the upscale interior with a faux landscaped exterior setting.
I did note that when Isolt first walked in, she seemed to be looking for someone and she seems disappointed when she doesn't find them. I scowl despite myself, wondering who else she would want here and it's times like these that remind me just how little I really know about her besides how I feel about her. I hear her purring compliment to Tetradore and it's enough to make my brows furrow slightly but I clear my throat and hold my post. It's when Isolt turns to meet my gaze that my expression softens, something only she can coax so readily from me. When she waves her hand, my brows arch upward in puzzlement though, a hand reaching up to run through my hair, the only sign of agitation as I move forward toward her beckoning figure, knowing that I am at her mercy tonight and must be a gentleman, at least in the public eye. I listen only a little as she turns to talk to Tobias, asking him a question before Raven drops the glass and shatters it on the floor. She assures the were before reaching down for the shattered pieces and I arch one brow in curiosity, watching as the glass forms back into a drinking cup and she hands it off to a waitor as if nothing happened, getting a full one to then hand to Tetradore before motioning for a stronger drink for Raven. I step in beside her as if I fit there. "Well that will certainly save a lot of money on replacement serving ware." I show my humor with a smirk and a sparkling gaze. It's only when another moves to my side that my gaze is drawn to Davante and I laugh at his comment. "Well, I guess we'll just have to serve up another cake to test the theory. Unless you want a fresh vein this time." I grin playfully, watching then as he introduces himself to Tetradore and it's easy to see that while they may have never met before, there is stil familiarity there. I can sense the were's tension and I have a feeling it has to do with the man in the cloak and how Raven reacts to him, though by the way he turns his back to the man, I'd say it's more than that. My brow rises but I say nothing, choosing to let time present the situation if anything's going to happen. |
