The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

There were few things Nadya felt she still had left to enjoy. Between caring for the twins and working at her Burlesque, she didn't get much time to go out and do things anymore. Nadya still wouldn't consider herself a morning person but having toddlers meant you didn't get to choose. She was up early, fed herself and the twins, and managed to get all three of them dressed and out the door in a timely manner. There was minimal business to attend to first, a stop into the clothing store she first entered when living in Sacrosanct. Or rather broke and enter into. It didn't take too long for Nadya to thumb through a few of the clothes and select a few things from their catalogue for the dancers.
After the clothing shop the natives were getting a bit restless so Nadya stopped by the park. It was definitely different entertaining the twins as a human than in her feline form. Not so easy juggling their different wants. Nadya plopped Izzy into the swing and pushed the delighted toddler back and forth while Micah was more interested in trying to eat the playground. "No no, Micah, that's not for eating." Nadya hurriedly stooped down to brush the grains of sand from his lips before plucking him up at settling him on her hip. Her nose wrinkled slightly at the gross aspect of it though said nothing more on it as she resumed pushing Izzy on the swing.
By the time late afternoon rolled around, Micah and Izzy were beginning to fade, their eyes drooping and their antsy behavior intensifying. Certainly naptime. The plan was just to stroll the pair right back home and enjoy some quiet time...but oh did that heavenly smell waft into her nose causing Nadya to pause. She glanced at the café just a few shops ahead where that wonderful scent was coming from.
Nadya stepped through the threshold into the café, inhaling deeply. It had been far too long since she had been into a coffee shop that it would have been considered blasphemy in her mind pre-babies. The mere prospect of quality coffee made Nadya not even care about the odd looks people gave her "the young mother" as she pushed the stroller down the aisle. Nadya was immersed in looking over the display menu above when she felt a soft thump at her feet. Glancing down she saw Izzy had thrown the stuffed horse Frost had given them onto the floor. With a sigh Nadya bent down and placed it back into Izzy's waiting hand. "Izzy, don't lose it, Frost will not get you another one...and I will not ask him for another one." The fact that the barely one year old didn't understand her didn't occur to Nadya. Sometimes talking to the twins was the only conversations she got. Though it seemed today she would be in luck as she heard her name called. Nadya turned her gaze away from Izzy, her eyes lighting up with recognition. "Alexis." A smile graced her features. "I didn't know you worked here. I haven't seen you...well, forever." Pre-pregnancy to be exact. "How are you?"
