East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

How easy it was to watch the girl become unhinged, her worries gnawing at her mind far more readily then even he had anticipated until fear clawed at her as readily as the shadows as they moved along the sidewalk and towards her home. Her assurance in her boyfriends supposed good intentions remained and yet even he can hear the waver in her voice, that tiny note of insecurity and for now that was enough. Her own imagination would do much of the work for him. She would question more, wonder, grow steadily more paranoid and yet the evident harshness of his methods failed to move him. She is merely an unfortunate causality of war as it were. Aiden is his true target, Samantha merely a tool to be used against him. How careless the other Alpha was to allow his possessions to wander around so unguarded. Truthfully there was little to stop the panther moving against him in much the same manner and yet he hardly believes Aiden has the spine for it. The other man hindered by whatever moral code Frost seems to believe he has. How unfortunate it must be to be crippled by emotion. Samantha, for her part, would recover in time, he was sure of that- the damage would hardly be lasting. A little bit of fear never killed anybody, it merely made for good sport- at least until it board him. Perhaps next time Tetradore would reconsider attempting to keep Nadya away from him.

The Fae girl clings only tighter to his arm as they walk, the scent of her fear so potent within the air and yet the equine offers no further illusionary tricks, content enough with his work for now until they reach her building, the address noted easily before he moves to ask after her living situation with a seemingly innocent question. This mention of a roommate sees him frown, if only slightly, features neatly rearranged into a look of mild concern. A male roommate? Was Aiden even aware of that? For a moment the stallions finds himself mildly amused at the prospect before the girls description of the man assures him he would be of little use to this plan. If anything he would be a hindrance, especially if he was particularly....close with the woman, or protective of her as men tended to be. A five hundred year old Fae however was a true rarity. A valuable one at that. Hmm, perhaps the Hunter Council would be interested in knowing about such a prize, perhaps getting rid of her roommate, especially if he was as incapable as he sounded would be easier then he anticipated and yet.....perhaps Edie would enjoy him all the same. Surely his Beta could be of some assistance in this.

For now however he simply nods at her words and assurance she is fine from here, the girl at last letting go of his arm, squeezing it momentarily before she offered her thanks.

"It's fine Sam, I'm just sorry you had to hear this from me. As for Nadya no, don't worry about it. I'll catch up with her later. I'll see you soon."

He smiles easily, waiting for the girl to turn and head for her door before he moves to stroll back up the street and into the darkness.
