The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Nadya Tetradore
While Nadya surely appreciated Sam's kind and reassuring words on the matter that caused such chaos within the Were, shew knew Sam was limited. "Thank you...but...it would be my job to make sure Aiden is ok. You are his girlfriend, but you aren't the one dealing the blow." No, it would rest on her shoulders alone to bear the brunt of whatever her brother dealt, whether it be acceptance or shunning her. It was a difficult thought to have, the memory alone of how it felt those first few weeks of her pregnancy that Aiden shunned her. Never again did she want to feel the way from that look in his eyes whenever he saw her. She had to busy herself, remove herself from the couch and move about, in order to settle the ice in her chest.
Nadya listened to Sam's worry about her parents as she leaned against the desk. There was merit to her words, genuine concerns that anyone would have. But family was family. Nadya shrugged lightly, "If our parents were here, Aiden wouldn't retell them his past. He wouldn't focus on that. He'd tell them how successful he was now, Alpha of his own pack and ran a business. What happened before...it doesn't matter. You're....you're supposed to focus on the now... You tell them you're a Queen now...and with someone who makes you happy. You're ok now, that makes them happy." There were nights she wondered what she would say to her parents if they were still around. What would they say about her business? What would they think of the twins? Would they shun the twins as well or welcome them as pack? Part of her was so unsure about who her biological parents really were but, like any child, tried to think they were the best. After all, her adoptive parents accepted her and the twins without thought.
It seemed that the fae was determined to injure herself tonight. While Nadya remained still, she watched Samantha pace about the room picking up the shards of glass mess that her newfound power had scattered. The bright crimson liquid welling at the seams of Sam's closed fist caught the predator's gaze. Nadya sighed as she slowly rounded the desk, her fingers delicately taking the woman's clenched hand and unraveling her fingers from the glass. "Your new power is a good one....it can be useful." She explained calmly, taking the bloody pieces of glass and tossing them onto the desk. "You need to practice. I would practice on something less....sharp though." With Sam's hand still in hers, Nadya leaned forward to press a gentle kiss to her cheek, her lips lingering there against the cool pale skin allowing her healing ability to once more unfurl and course through Sam to stitch up her hand. "I don't think my brother would be happy if you were always showing up with cuts on you...or worse. I'm not going to always be around to fix it."
Nadya drew away completely from Sam, her hands drifting up to the sash looped around her waist that secured the silk robe around her otherwise nude form. "I can help you though...with your new power, if you come to the Ark. I practice up on the deck away from everyone. It's...hard for me to leave the Ark still." Both Sam and Nadya shared the feeling of paranoia though for very different reasons. While Sam was paranoid about being chased by other faeries, Nadya was paranoid about Frost being around every corner. She was trying her best to please her brother by staying away from him...which she had never outright sought him out before anyways, but the stallion seemed to find her. Nadya had briefly debated if Frost had stuck a gps somewhere on her things for how easily he found her. The longer Nadya was outside of the Ark, the more she became restless feeling like Frost was going to pop up any moment and that same chaotic turmoil would flare up inside her. "Just uh....don't touch any of the glass, leave it and have the janitors do it when they come after closing."
