North

Within the Northern vicinity of the city, the wealthy gather behind meticulously trimmed hedges and high-class architecture. The pristine streets are paved with stone and the storefronts are brightly lit and inviting - for the right clientele. In the North, every establishment is eager to cater to the rich and the wealthy. Many such places are used to the sometimes peculiar requests of the otherworldly but here there is little that money cannot buy - whether it happens to be illegal or merely involves looking the other way. Vampires and Dark Hunters are often found upon these Northern streets, their long lives often contributing to their sizable wealth which allows them the luxuries that the North provides.

An eyebrow lifts, eyes darting from the drunkard on the floor to her startled reaction as she herself peers at the entrance. Nervous little thing though she hides it well. At her attempt to sound out his name her smirks, his plush lips twitching behind his bearded face. The act almost makes his scarred features even more gruesome, while on any other it may look borderline sexy. No, he is different and as the shadows cast over part of his face it is safe to say he isn't like the others. And as she finishes her response towards his title, breaking it and absolutely destroying it in her mouth he waves a massive hand in the air as if to rid her of her own embarrassment. No one could speak it, and this he does not mind. The rumors call him "the viking" and for those people who question the feared brute from the darkness, they need not know his true title. A rumble is given to her, as if to say "shake it off, it doesn't matter" and he moves on to observe her.

She is shy about the markings that grace her pale skin. She is unlike the girl from the park, who basks in what makes her, well her. No this girl covers herself, refusing to embrace her deformities as the art she carries. Her reply is simple, and his face grows somber with empathy. He nods, finger rising to his face to tap the jagged scar on his own face in consideration. He knows all too well of a father's love. Seems like they are more alike than he originally believed.

The door slams, an entrance is made and the only reason he bothers to cast an icy glance their way is because of the flinch he witnesses. Dark Hunters, his lip twitches in disgust at the glances they throw around the area. They are looking for someone, and judging by the way she moves deeper into his own overcast, it is her they want. She speaks to him, a murmur of a question and he ignores it, fingers beginning to tap on the wooden table. She might be willing to hide but he isn't. They can feel his eyes on them and one turns, casting a brown gaze in his direction. The viking stares, head tilting slightly as that previous smirk transforms into a smile. Light does not reach his eyes, the smile plastered on his face as if it were painted onto a doll.

The other looks away, speaking to his comrade as the other glances over his shoulder to the viking and his associate. The two hunters look away, discussing options no doubt and the viking turns to raven. "explain what is going on so I know there is a reason behind the massacre I am about to create."
