death incarnate & night triumphant
He was delighted to see that Eve's razor sharp tongue had not dulled in the centuries it had been since he had met her. She had always been someone of cool indifference, someone who had not been altogether pleasant to deal with on her good days. Yet, Andras still found her intriguing. There had never been a dull moment around the woman and he was pleasantly surprised to see that she remained the same. A queen in her own right, someone who didn't need a crown to be noted as royalty. You could see it in her perfect posture, that ram rod spine of he's that Andras so desired to tease her. Yet, he was here on business, albeit, a touch earlier than he had planned, unaware the Queen of Thorns was now within in Sacrosanct's city limits.
Still, he watches in idle fascination as her lyrics roll off her tongue in that accented style of hers, speaking down to the owner of the bar. When he turns his attention to the bar owner, Andras gives an apologetic smile, wanting to keep things casual, calm, he needed this meeting with Eve and he very much doubted she would see him outside of this bar afterwards if he did not convince her to join him. Andras might have winced at Ceara's comment if Eve hadn't shouted at her men to leave the premises in that ancient and dead language. Again, he offers a coy smile to the woman, a small dip of his head as she agrees to let the one man stay, motioning the server over with his drink. Giving a nod of gratitude, he accepts it and tips the server handsomely before he vanishes form sight.
When the woman states that she would be handling Eve from now on, his eyes dart back to the Queen of Thorns in delight, just to see her reaction. Thankfully, the owner strolls away, that false smile so adorning her features, before she disappears through a door. This was not how he expected his meeting to go with Eve. Not one bit. Yet, the faerie king would make due. Letting his dark eyes settle on the woman across from him once more, he takes a sip of drink casually as his name on her lips draws a wicked grin from Andras, "Perhaps I simply wanted to indulge myself in what Sacrosanct has to offer," he purrs, leaning forward to clasp his fingers beneath his chin, regarding her openly, "Or perhaps I'm here to build a court, so powerful, the world would gravel to me and mine if I so desired," again, that dark simper adorns his lips.
"I won't beat around the bush, I had heard you were in town and I'm here to offer you a position within my court if you so wish, I could use a woman like you leading the underlings. All my subjects would fall to their knees to be led by someone with such devastating beauty. It also pleases me greatly to know you can still wound a man with that sharp tongue of yours still," he chuckles, leaning back into his chair, a leg thrown casually over the other as he brings his drink to his lips. "Of course, you don't have to decide now," he gives a small shrug, "I can return in a month's time to retrieve your answer or you can simply give me one now," his grin widens, his midnight eyes searching that mask of indifference before him.
"I thought you might want to have control over Sacrosanct eventually," he says nonchalantly, a hand twisting up to gesture outwards, as if he could see the entirety of the city within this building. "Your staff would be welcome too, of course," he adds before returning that glass to his lips and drinking again before he's setting it on the table, leaning forward across the table. "What say you, Queen of Thorns?"
