North

Within the Northern vicinity of the city, the wealthy gather behind meticulously trimmed hedges and high-class architecture. The pristine streets are paved with stone and the storefronts are brightly lit and inviting - for the right clientele. In the North, every establishment is eager to cater to the rich and the wealthy. Many such places are used to the sometimes peculiar requests of the otherworldly but here there is little that money cannot buy - whether it happens to be illegal or merely involves looking the other way. Vampires and Dark Hunters are often found upon these Northern streets, their long lives often contributing to their sizable wealth which allows them the luxuries that the North provides.

Of course Anna could agree with Damon that she was perfect; she didn't feel like anything was wrong with her. However, others did and what was wrong with pretending around them? It was just like pretending to be a vulnerable child to draw in those helpless human victims, right? Anna simply wished for her dear Sebastian to play with her. Perhaps a few mundane games would be worth the company.

"He doesn't hunt...not like a real vampire. I don't know why though. I'm not like that and he's mine so he shouldn't be like that." To her there was no explanation for his aversion. "I have to pretend not to hunt anymore." Again, Anna didn't see anything wrong in hunting. It was one of the very few forms of entertainment she had anymore. It wasn't like she could go to any children's events to play with human children.

With the assurance from Damon that he would teach her how to pretend to have a soul she was satisfied with the topic and switched her attention back to the original task at hand. "But, I don't want to learn right now...I want to eat." The wounded hotel manager would find himself lucky later on as Anna turned to one of the suite doors. One hefty yank on the door handle busted the handle from the frame, rendering the card key lock useless. The occupants being a couple of businessmen jumped in surprise, confusion, and fear when Anna shoved the door open. "...You want one?" She glanced innocently over her shoulder at Damon.
