Sterling's fingers ever so gently prodded into the young woman that slept so peacefully beside that hospital bed - a spot that surely should have been reserved for his boyfriend. That gesture, simple though it was, brought on a fresh new wave of pain to his wounded frame, that reach stretching those sore and torn muscles within him. He quite near fell back against the bed, those bright blue eyes settled upon the young woman all the same as some measure of awareness slowly began to pull her from her sleep. He watched as the woman's gaze fluttered open, that exhaustion merely gave way to a glimpse of panic that seemed to fill every bit of her frame, at least, until her eyes settled on his frame. That soft sound of that breath leaving her lips hardly managed to settle his nerves. After all, the last memory he held was of Henry's arms embracing him. He remembered that look of...was it fear on his boyfriend's face? The rest, however, was a mere blur, a blankness in his mind between now and then that prompted a haze of confusion. Fortunately, Sterling was well enough aware that panicking was wholly unhelpful, just as he too was aware of the strong possibility that Henry had brought him here in the first place.

It was that croak from her lips that drew his gaze back towards her, his head slowly bobbed as he leaned back against that mattress, his body far too sore to simply remain sitting up as by himself as he was. It was a peculiar sort of hurt, like a hurt he was aware of and yet was entirely out of his grasp. His whole thought process seemed a bit....hazy. He watched as she rubbed her eyes, clearly entirely exhausted. That inquiry, however, prompted a small frown on his features, his own blue eyes slowly turned from her only to glance down the length of his own figure, not that he could see anything with that hospital blanket on top of him. "I....I'm....sore....but okay." He admitted after a moment. He had considered reassuring her that he was fine but...surely she worked here, didn't she? "Um...what happened? Where's Henry? Can you find him for me...please?" There was a certain hint of desperation within his voice, the boy desperately wanting his boyfriend at that very moment, wholly unaware that Henry was not even in the building at all. Surely he had just gone to the bathroom or...went to get coffee from the cafeteria or...something -right? At least, that was what he tried to tell himself whilst that young woman glanced over his wounded figure.

He hardly anticipated that sudden announcement that he needed a drink and yet, the man hardly had a chance to reply before she was up and out the door. A soft sigh left his lips in her wake and slowly, Sterling shifted, raising that blanket up only to glance at the stitches and bandages that near littered his groin and leg. His back certainly felt no better. Great. Henry was going to be so upset about this, as if he already wasn't. Slowly, Sterling's hand fell back on that bed, his eyebrows furrowed briefly. How was he going to fix this? He was certain it was a problem for another day, any sort of critical thinking was near beyond him at that very moment. That soft knock drew his gaze upwards towards the door and yet, Sterling hardly had a chance to respond before the woman from before entered, presenting him with a plastic cup of water. "Oh...um...thank you." He commented softly as he eyed that glass, uncertain if he even felt thirsty enough to drink it. His gaze fluttered back towards her, quite clearly looking for answers as she presented him with her name, inquiring after his as well. Did....did they not have his information already? Wouldn't Henry have given it to them? A glimpse of uncertainty crossed his features before, slowly, the warlock responded. "Sterling...Sterling Tenembrage. I thought...my wallet...did I leave it on the boat?" His eyebrows furrowed as those words turned into mere muttering, the boy attempting to wade through those memories, to remember anything.
