Townsend couldn't help but chuckle softly as Jane's reactions. She seemed awfully flustered about something. He couldn't exactly pinpoint it in his own mind, but nevertheless she seemed rather nice. Perhaps a tad bit eccentric, but Townsend always fought that to be a wholesome quality to have. Unless it was for the worst reasons, and made you a completely unapproachable person. But that was a different story for sure. Not something he needed to be getting himself worked up about. Townsend looked at Jane as a very kindred soul on the inside. Or maybe that was just Townsend looking at another human being and taking them at face value. He didn't want to be too judgemental.
He did take note that she said she'd come from a charity gala event that a friend of hers was holding. It was always a good thing when people came together for a good cause. "Well Jane," Townsend would start his sentence as he adjusted his tie for a moment and then turned back towards her. "I do hope the gala was most spectacular for you. I can't bloody remember the last time I actually attended one. May of been back when I was roaming the streets of Paris. Or was it Britain? Heaven only knows. It's been a long time it feels." He stated as he would laugh softly and would purse his lips in thought for a moment. There was now something that about this woman he couldn't quite put his finger down on. But he didn't want to start a scene.
Jane had taken note of his attire and complement him. Said he looked rather sharp and would then proceed to ask if he was having a night on the town. This would make him chuckle, and his accent would show itself as he would put his hands together. "Oh this? No, no, no. Believe it or not, this is my normal everday attire. I always dressed clean and sharply as far as I can remember.. Well, I have my moments at least where a suit is just a perishable thought." He said to her as he would look around for any signs that would point to where the services were, but would find himself caught in the coversation with this stranger who seemed rather nice. Though he was ever so curious about her and who she was.
