i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

Thankfully Tobias agreed to her decision that she should be the one to drive the rental car. Already she had him on the streets and so far he didn't cause any problems. Her mate amused some people in front of the Leonardo Da Vinci stature, but he also irritated the man selling the bubbles. The last thing the citizens of this city needed was Tobias behind the wheel of a high-end car blazing through the streets in a dangerous manner. What would she say to Dorian? 'Hey, I let my loose cannon of a fiancé drive a car through the streets. Yes there was damage, a lot of damage. So, very sorry!' Raven couldn't do something that. It would make the Fae King disappointed in her and the girl hated disappointing the people that mattered the most to her. Sitting in the driver seat she stared at the dashboard in front of her. It all looked spiffy, slightly familiar, but very spiffy. Why Tetradore would allow Tobias inside a car like this confounded her. Raven would be willing to allow the leopard to drive if his other half was present, but he wasn't. Which meant she had to be the one to drive this...thing without breaking it or anything else. This would be fun. As she found the GPS system, and successfully turned it to the English setting, she began to type in the address to their destination. His reply to her admitting she never drove a car like this was answered with such an annoying masculine reply. Rarely did the lupine ever scowl at her mate, but this was one of those uncommon occasions when she did.

"Girls can drive cars like this too. Tetra just...never bought a car like this for me."

The fact he never bought her a car like this pleased her. The little Honda he gave her was just fine. As she got more comfortable behind the wheel purpose the car could change. Until then the Honda was the perfect vehicle to get her from point A to point B in a timely manner. Quietly she followed the polite feminine voice being extremely careful about which side of the road she was on. The last thing she needed to was to cause an accident herself. Tobias would never make her forget such a thing. As soon as they were out of the city she stepped on the accelerator a little bit more. Which only seemed to please the man beside her. Her eyes would shift as she noticed his finger pressed on the screen. Silently she prayed he wasn't accidentally messing it up. Raven had no intention of being lost in the Italian countryside. An eyebrow was raised as she heard him begin to mutter and stutter under his breath. Eventually the two of them would make it to their destination. Putting the car in park she sighed in relief. When she was about to speak to her mate she already saw him hop out of his seat and slam his own car door. Getting out of her own car she yelped in surprise when he grabbed her hand and yanked her away from the vehicle. Keeping a tight hold on the keys she dug her feet into the ground exclaiming quickly.

"Hold on Tobi, I need to lock it!"

Fidgeting with the buttons she grinned when she heard the 'beep' and the lights flicker on and then off. Now with the car locked she was willing to follow her eager, hyper mate. Slipping the key into her pocket she followed after her mate, keeping her hand tightly within his own. Blue-grey eyes widened at the scene in front of them. The large red and white tent, smacked right in the middle, as littered with smaller wooden frames of different carnival games to play. Each carny hollering and attempting to persuade someone to play their rigged game. Some stands held delicious smelling foods, the photos on the stands showing just what sort of food they were selling. There were posters tied up against the lamps showcasing what sort of entertainer they would see under the big top. In the distance she could hear a familiar sound of lions and tigers roaring followed by the cheers and shrieks from entertained guests. It was fortunate that one of them seemed capable of remembering why they came to the circus in the first place. Hearing her moniker she looked to her mate and then towards the location he was pointing at. There within her own caravan was the bearded lady. Taking another look around she found that he had led them straight to the camp where the performers prepared themselves before the big show. Although they needed to get her Raven didn't want to terrify the woman! As Tobi attempted to make a run for it, she held her hand tightly and used the other to grip the collar of his shirt, gently tugging him to stay put, wanting the man to turn his attention on her, if only for a moment. Blue-grey eyes locked into his darkened gaze her voice holding a soft and leveled tone.

"Okay, don't scare her Tobi. If you scare her, her pack might come and attack us...so be nice."

Her hand would gesture to the different performers that surrounded them. Although they were focused on making themselves look ready for the show, or training to perform their act, that didn't mean their attention could be broken when one of their cast mates screamed. Raven wasn't sure if Tobi would understand what she was wanting from him, but she hoped that by saying the bearded woman's pack would attack them, it would make him rethink whatever sort of plan he thought of. They were outnumbered. Following after him she looked around keeping an eye out for anyone that even bothered to take a glimpse that there were two people that didn't belong here. Getting closer to the bearded woman, Raven gave her a warm friendly grin. Holding up her hands, palms faced towards her, a perfect gesture to show she didn't mean any harm. Gently she spoke up hoping to engage in some sort of conversation with the woman, to try and distract her from her mate.

"Um...hello...I mean...Ciao! Parli inglese?"
