I'll believe it when it happens

She didn't even know why she was in this part of town to be honest. This was mostly fancy restaurants and uptown stores with clothes she would probably never wear. In fact, she was already standing at a window, glaring at the fur coats hanging front and center. An attendant saw her and smiled, trying to welcome her into the store but Malia responded with a curl of her lips, showing tooth like an animal. The woman instantly scowled and walked away, probably getting ready to call the cops or something if she got too crazy. Malia couldn't help her animal tendencies. She still thought very much like a coyote at times. She ran her hands down her skinny jeans, scratching at the denim fabric. It was still itchy to wear clothes sometimes. She picked a loose T-shirt to wear with a name of some band or something on it. Not that she listened to music, besides the kind you can dance to. She went to the clubs as much as she could. She had some tension to release.
Her chestnut hair fell around her shoulders in natural waves today. She didn't feel like doing anything with it, even brushing. Her brown eyes took in the rows of clothes in the different stores as she passed them, leaving behind the fur coats in their shame. She hated that people did that, killing animals just for their fur. Maybe she should bite them all so they could grow their own. It was an idea, probably not one her alpha, Frost, would be proud of, but an idea, none the less. When she saw some leather in another store, she decided to take a look. She liked to look for the fake kind so she knew it didn't come from an animal but there was just something about the feel of the real stuff. She liked to run her fingers down it. Some kind of hypocrite, she was.
As she wandered between the men's and women's departments, she almost walked right into a guy. Pausing, she stopped to take him in. He smelled like a human. Well, at least no surprises. As he turned to her, he had a friendly smile so she couldn't help but return it, brushing some hair behind her ear. But when he asked his question, the smile dropped as she furrowed her brows. He was new to clothes shopping? "Do you not usually wear clothes?" It was the first thing that sprang to mind. It reminded her too much of her own experience with clothes. Of course, being stuck in her coyote form for 10 years give or take might have something to do with that.
