Well well well. Seems the way to a beast's heart was in fact, through his stomach. The change that happened before The Fae's eyes was all but shocking, though to anyone else would be quite that. Carefully cleaning his glasses with a cloth from his jacket pocket, he donned them back upon his face and looked up at the Were and chuckled a bit.
"You must not have lamb made by someone from Greece before." He chuckled softly, pulling out another small shank from his pockets, wrapped carefully like a lollipop. He was carrying a few shanks around to eat, but seeing as Tobias seemed peckish, at least upon impression, Gideon wasn't going to say no.
After all, he many many years ago was in a similar predicament. Well.. Before he was changed, that is. Be that as it may, he remembered the days of roaming Europe by himself, clad in jet black clothing at night, and blending into his surroundings with earthy tone garments during the day. Did he manage to steal shanks of lamb, loaves of bread and other things? Had to.
The life of an assassin meant you could make a lot of money, but to keep from the same stall vendors or mercantiles from knowing your face and voice, you had to take measures.
Thus, he would steal and never be caught. And if he was, his hooded face and clothing allowed him to hide easily. Thankfully nowadays, he can do that on a whim. Though he's yet to have a need to do such a thing at the moment. Though surely the need would arise soon.
In any instance, the Greek would watch Tobias as he passed off the lamb shank and smile.
"Shinies eh?" He smiled widely, as he folded his arms gently across his chest.
"Well, the shinies help me to see. Because my eyesight seems to have diminished at some point in my now renewed life... Though I can only believe it was the side-effects of my death as a mortal."
The Fae was careful not to give any more details than that. He wasn't about to just start spouting off; He was still an Assassin. In this line of work you had to be secretive and be careful what you say and where. Because someone may get a wind, and next thing you know, you're on a wanted list.
Still, Gideon seemed to like Tobias so far. Curious being he was, but that was no issue or bother. Gideon was the same way growing up in Greece when he was younger. Much younger, yet for his age one wouldn't know he was practically centuries old... Or whatever the measurement is. Nevertheless, Gideon was quite intrigued. Serafina would be too, no doubt.
"Oh, my manners." HIs accent showed in those words. "Gideon, is my name. A Fae if you haven't already gathered." The Greek said with a welcoming and warming smile, and a warmth in his eyes.
