Tipson was mixing up work with pleasure today. The young man preferred comfy worn-out clothes that helped one not stand out but there were times to show off well due to the rewards it got you. His normal frayed older clothes had been shed and instead, he was attired in a coal grey suit and well-fitting pants. The suit had been recently ironed to avoid wrinkles and the black shoes were even shined.
People dressed this often enough stole but not by picking pockets or breaking into people's houses. He was dressed like those who owned companies that made it rich at the cost of their customers and outbought the lower class of whatever they wanted. Tipson imagined he was young enough most people would assume he'd just got his money from family but surely he was rich.
Today was about looking for targets to hit later. Stores or houses that had poor security, lady or gentleman who weren't paying close enough attention to their possessions, or whatever else came to mind. Might as well enjoy himself with a good meal before he got to work.
Tipson had heard about this new restaurant called Eternity and it seemed appropriate to give it a chance. Burgers and pizza were great but once upon a time, he'd ate dishes that demanded you know which fork came first, and sometimes it was nice to let his pallet remember the old days. It was also good for remembering how to play any role. People paid more attention to clothes than faces and good odds those who saw him in this get-up wouldn't recognize him in his normal get-up.
As he passed by a couple, observant eyes noticed the watch on one's wrist that likely cost more than a new motorcycle. Yeah, someone like that would have some nice items in his house. The other problem, of course, was deciding who was a freak and who was a normal person. It was satisfying stealing from freaks but better to burglarize an empty house with them. A failed pickpocket was a whole other world of dangerous when a were or vampire was the target, and harder with their freakish senses.
Tipson shifted his gaze a bit further down the street where he saw the restaurant. Alright, mind off work until after a good meal. With a charming smile on his face, Tipson made his way towards the place as his thoughts shifted to what food he'd hope to find within.
