The howl of pain filled the small alley as the vampire screamed at the sizzling touch of silver. The ballerina's hands rose to her parted lips as she instinctively took a step back. He would recover soon - the necklace was hardly bound to derail him for long before he was once again running headlong within her direction. Movement from the far side of the alley drew the French woman's attention, her clove irises watching, entranced, as Kit leapt towards the vampire with stake in hand. How easily this could turn out to be a disaster! Thankfully, the vampire hardly seemed to notice the second fae until it was too late - the quickly fashioned wood stabbed into the creature's chest - sliding through muscles and rib cage to finally meet the tender beating muscle of its heart. The very touch of the wood caused the vampire's body to immediately explode into flames, raining ash down upon them and settling upon Audette's pale, blonde locks. She echoed Kit's breath of relief quite before she realized it, only to step forward and closer towards the man with a visible glance of shock upon her features. She watched as he leaned down to pick up the necklace, the man entirely unaffected by how close he could have come to his own death!
The gentle tease was upon her lips quite before Audette realized it, even if it was masked by a genuine query. How much experience had he had with the supernatural? Between the poison she knew he wielded to now vampire hunting? Kit shrugged nonchalantly, the very action prompted a singular brow to rise as she provided her companion with a second look. Him? A Hunter? She supposed the title did somewhat fit, with what limited knowledge she had of the man.
