North

Within the Northern vicinity of the city, the wealthy gather behind meticulously trimmed hedges and high-class architecture. The pristine streets are paved with stone and the storefronts are brightly lit and inviting - for the right clientele. In the North, every establishment is eager to cater to the rich and the wealthy. Many such places are used to the sometimes peculiar requests of the otherworldly but here there is little that money cannot buy - whether it happens to be illegal or merely involves looking the other way. Vampires and Dark Hunters are often found upon these Northern streets, their long lives often contributing to their sizable wealth which allows them the luxuries that the North provides.

kissing death and loosing my breath

A flippant wave of her hand was given within the direction of her companion, no real offense taken to his comment. "Don't worry about it. Just give it a shot....you know....if you want. If you don't..." Serafina shrugged simply. It was his choice if he wanted to utilize what her magic could do for him - it hardly affected the young witch either way. "I mean, I can make more." She added with a warm simper. It was her perhaps bizarre way of insisting that he take it, and she was quite pleased with herself that he did slip the vial into his pocket till the next fancy passed her mind, one she felt ever so inclined to share. It was true, the festival going on tonight was hardly one that could be easily missed. A section of down town had been blocked off specifically for the crowds that would appear. However, some festivities, perhaps like this one catered to a very niche crowd. It was such a thing that caused them to often go unnoticed by those that didn't frequent such districts of the city. Thankfully, this little niche happened to be one that Serafina belonged to, leaving precisely in the in, so to speak. "Eh, you have to know where to look!" She replied with a bright simper crossing her fair feminine features.

She stood as he did, grabbing her bag from the booth and tossing it over her shoulder in a nonchalant fashion. "Nope, I'm all ready. You know, I bet they do. They have all the best food at festivals. Mmm, turkey legs and corn on the cob and popcorn. Ugh, I could just die thinking about it all." She groaned in the sheer delight of the thought of the upcoming food the two would be feasting on. Food that was far better then the peanuts that accompanied the alcoholic beverages here. Serafina happily led the man out of the bar, turning down the side streets to navigate the city with relative ease. The metropolis had been her home for as long as she could remember. She knew most of the sidewalks and alleyways and thus knew exactly which way to go to get to where she wanted to be. "Have you been around here long?" She inquired, clearly making small chat as they wandered down the streets. After all, Serafina saw no reason not to get to know her new found companion for the time they had.

"Oh, this way." She ducked down a street, leading them a bit further before she started to hear the familiar sound of music. "Hear that? We're close." She commented, glancing back at the man behind her. She reached out to grab his hand, after all, they were going to have to stay close! Least they get lost in the crowd she knew they'd be coming nearly right on top of. "Tada!" She declared, dragging him on a busy street filled with bright lights, loud music and street vendors galore. It was far better, she decided then that stuff old bar ever was. Here there was promise for real fun. "Win me a stuffed bear?" She commented, a hint of a mischievous grin crossing her feminine features as she gestured at a near by carnival game.
