North

Within the Northern vicinity of the city, the wealthy gather behind meticulously trimmed hedges and high-class architecture. The pristine streets are paved with stone and the storefronts are brightly lit and inviting - for the right clientele. In the North, every establishment is eager to cater to the rich and the wealthy. Many such places are used to the sometimes peculiar requests of the otherworldly but here there is little that money cannot buy - whether it happens to be illegal or merely involves looking the other way. Vampires and Dark Hunters are often found upon these Northern streets, their long lives often contributing to their sizable wealth which allows them the luxuries that the North provides.

Oh mercy, will it overcome us

A woman of good taste? The compliment fell on amused ears as the woman ran a hand over her jaw, gently smoothing the acute angle in perpetual curiosity. In generous reciprocity did she raise her newly acquired glass, a smooth grin sliding over her reptilian features. Surely, Bethel knew she was a woman of good taste as such taste was groomed by an elite class of individuals from where she grew up and was raised. Her family served as a high-class familiar group to a local coven of witches; said witches were nearly under the hypnotic spell of the Ayer reptilian horde. The Ayers admitted to being reluctant servants of this coven, but fortunately for Bethel she simply adopted the tasteful ways of her family before excusing herself from the situation she would likely have been forced into as a servant of a peticular witch or warlock in the town. And here? Sacrosanct provided opportunities she wouldn't have had in Salem. The small city had narrowed the possibilities and the pages of her book; a fate that Bethel simply wouldn't accept. Instead, the woman became a citizen of a city that accepted all kinds of creatures that she was positively pleased to be a part of.

"My, my, do you have a lot of possibilities for this drink," She cooed, her voice little more than an amused hiss. Her words slurred gently together as they so often did, making her particular flavor of were easier to guess than many others. While her human actions were generally incredibly human, the traits of the anaconda slid through on many occasions as they were too grandiose to be hidden. Bethel spent most of her time human as the transformations were still incredibly difficult and all too often painful to endure on a very regular basis. This being said, her actions and behaviors were generally quite human, even if painstakingly so.

"Now, don't be greedy," Bethel says, cocking a playful brow as if challenging him to his own drink. She lifted the drink to her lips in a quick motion, making even quicker work of inhaling the contents of the glass without so much as a wince. The liquor was quite strong considering, but the woman hardly minded. Bethel found alcohol something that affected her very little, and very slowly; thanks be to the snake beneath her skin? That idea alone made drinking with this man sound so much more enticing.

The empty glass seems to taunt both of them. Bethel slid her glass towards the bartender in a fluid motion of someone with practice before turning her emerald gaze to the man beside her with a wink.

"Let me aid you on your quest to intoxication." The words were a challenge, declared in a jovial manner as the essence of the party had seemed to goad her into partaking in the festivities that were often situated at times when the woman couldn't partake. "Two more, please!" And with the drinks handed to them from the bartender, Bethel does indeed intend on helping her companion to his destination.

"My name is Bethel."
