North

Within the Northern vicinity of the city, the wealthy gather behind meticulously trimmed hedges and high-class architecture. The pristine streets are paved with stone and the storefronts are brightly lit and inviting - for the right clientele. In the North, every establishment is eager to cater to the rich and the wealthy. Many such places are used to the sometimes peculiar requests of the otherworldly but here there is little that money cannot buy - whether it happens to be illegal or merely involves looking the other way. Vampires and Dark Hunters are often found upon these Northern streets, their long lives often contributing to their sizable wealth which allows them the luxuries that the North provides.

i've been chasing angels all my life
now heaven is on fire and the lions at my door

Oh. It had been a name.

Lenore took the information in stride, reaffirming in her mind that a name seemed to make much more sense than anything she had come up with on the spot. When he apologized she offered a soft smile and said nothing, offering him the slightest of reassurances that she was neither offended nor startled by his mistaken identity. There was a faint trace of amusement in her eyes as she watched him fiddle with his blazer, not so much at his embarrassment but at the idea that she had been mistaken for someone else at all. Back at home it was difficult in such a large city to come across such a happen-stance. It seemed that you either knew someone or you didn't, because mistaking someone for someone else could end up poorly for either party. Such was the city life, though, and Lenore had to remind herself that Sacrosanct was nowhere near the size of home. Not to mention the culture was certainly very different, too.

When the conversation shifted back towards the Witchery Lenore looked thoroughly delighted to hear that it was an Inn, and while that was acceptable in itself the way this gentleman had implied it made her curious and curiouser. It was the "among other things" that seemed to have her hooked, and her mind began to wonder about the implications behind it. It could have been nothing â€" a lot of hotels or inns could also be used as meeting places or event halls, Lenore knew, but she had been in far too many situations in her life where "other things" certainly meant... well. Other things. A hand came up lightly to idly touch the clasp of her fur shrug, her gaze wandering briefly to those passing by around them as the stranger stepped down from the entry way and joined her a few steps below. She watched the people that went inside, oblivious to Sacrosanct's secret races and nodded ever so slightly at his declaration that the café hosted inside was enjoyable. Leo didn't doubt it. It seemed that Sacrosanct held their cafés in high esteem, only recently having found the "Inner Sanctum" herself and content to assume that it would probably be a place she would frequent often.

"I moved not too long ago." She confirmed in return to his assumption and turned to face him once more with a light, happy calmness that didn't seem to indicate anything other than that she seemed to be enjoying what she assumed to be a brief interaction. "It won't be forever but it is rather exciting," Leo offered with a quiet laugh, though why it might have been funny seemed to really only have meaning to her. Her brother-in-law had promised that it wouldn't be long before he felt comfortable collecting his family again, though Leo knew somewhere deep down that it would not be so simple. Time was precious to Alex and he would not make a move until he was certain that things were stable back at home and once more under his control. That could take a while, or perhaps longer, and caused Leo to calm a bit with a small sigh.

The thought made her brow furrow ever so slightly, the absent cheerfulness gone for a second's time before the brightness of the distraction of the Inn once more gleamed in her honey-golden eyes. Suddenly the Inn seemed a little too intriguing. Leo took a step towards the grand entrance; turning a bit more towards the suited gentleman as she did so. "Is it a specialness you can tell me about?" She asked, an eagerness bubbling quietly in her tone. "Or something I find out on my own?"
