I snap my head up as he starts making a snickering noise, apparently amused by my yips as he grins, looking every bit like he's enjoying himself. At my comment about his face, he starts rubbing but it only succeeds in further smearing the charcoal until almost half his face is drawn on and my yips grow in strength as my blue gold eyes sparkle fiercely. I can't remember the last time I've laughed so much.

"You've...only made it...worse."

I try to tell him the best I can, hoping he'll catch on and go look in a mirror or something. He seems quite proud of his artwork, telling me that he didn't call me pet as he continues to stroke my fur. It's an odd sensation and at first I can't help but cringe every time his hand comes in contact but as he continues and nothing more happens, the strokes actually start to feel a little soothing, rhythmic in nature and unchanging. I can feel him calming even as he does it as if the mere action of petting me is soothing to him. I blink up at him and scowl but decide to forget it. As long as he doesn't try opening grabbing me or trying to manhandle me anymore, I guess I can't complain too much about him petting me, though it just seems very odd for him to be doing. I can't help but mumble at him, almost wanting him to hear.

"Who gets...to pet...you?"

I'm sure he doesn't just walk up to his pack mates and allow them to stroke his fur in whatever form that may be. Why don't I get the same respect? Because I'm small? That just doesn't seem fair. When he asks about my jumping, I shrug it off and tell him pretty high. I can climb trees and such and I've had to jump to branches on multiple occasions so I'm sure I can jump pretty well for my size though I can't say I like the look in his eyes at my response. He stands up and grasps me and instantly I start struggling, only stopping when he puts me on his shoulder. I scowl, ears flat and I consider biting his ear but I don't want to be thrown into a wall or anything so I keep my fangs to myself for now, a little curious to see what he's got on his mind.

He tells me he'll show me and my ears prick, eyes narrowing a bit in suspicion but none the less, I hold my place on his shoulders as he starts walking, content for now to wait it out until I see what I'm getting myself into. He starts out into the street, only to snap his head up and back up into the shadows. His hand comes up to support me even though my claws are already digging into his flesh, trying to hold my own balance and when his finger taps my nose, I wrinkle my nostrils in distaste of the touch but watch his gaze none the less to follow the man with the hood. My ears flatten and my tail lowers, my heart beat picking up a little as Tobi names the man a hunter. I shiver at the memory of Raven and I running down an alleyway.

"A hunter...tried to...shoot me...too..."

My voice trails off as I watch him finally turn and walk away. Tobi waits a bit longer before venturing forward. Finally he goes around to the back of a large richly furnished building and when he gets to the back door, I glance at him curiously. I can see the sign says The Witchery and I tilt my head. He points up at the window aboce the door and I follow his gaze before looking back at him. I scowl, wondering what this has to do with anything but none the less, my curiosity always seems to get the best of me. I shrug in answer.

"Guess we'll....find out."

Smirking almost slyly, I proceed to launch myself from the shoulders right up to the partly open window. I hook the ledge with my fore paws while scrabbling with my back paws while I push the window up further with my nose. Once it's open enough, I pull myself up and over, jumping down into the room. It looks like a storage place back here, with musty shelves of jaws with strange liquids in them and stuff. I glance at a few in curiosity but this place already creeps me out a little. There's a strange smell in here, almost metallic and it tickles my nose. Wrinkling my nostrils, I turn back to the door, sure that Tobi is impatient to get in. I check out the many locks on the inside, scowling before I shift back human and walk over to it, figuring out each lock as I go. After undoing two chains and three dead bolts, I try the door but it's held fast. Eyes narrowing in skepticism, I glance up and notice the dead bolt at the very top too. Someone's very protective of their things.

I try getting up on my tip toes but I can't reach so after glancing around, I push an old crate over to the door and climb on top, able to reach the dead bolt on my tip toes now. After sliding that open, I slide the crate back where it was and go to the door and open it. Stepping back, I cross my arms and tilt my head, whispering.

"Now what?"
