North

Within the Northern vicinity of the city, the wealthy gather behind meticulously trimmed hedges and high-class architecture. The pristine streets are paved with stone and the storefronts are brightly lit and inviting - for the right clientele. In the North, every establishment is eager to cater to the rich and the wealthy. Many such places are used to the sometimes peculiar requests of the otherworldly but here there is little that money cannot buy - whether it happens to be illegal or merely involves looking the other way. Vampires and Dark Hunters are often found upon these Northern streets, their long lives often contributing to their sizable wealth which allows them the luxuries that the North provides.

Samantha was hardly bothered by the total that appeared on the cash register, in fact she barely noticed as she focused on the woman at her side. Raven seemed pleased by the fact that Samantha had refered to her as a friend, but that's what she was, wasn't she? Samantha's interest in the woman wasn't just because of Aiden. She could care less about the pack bonds, honestly. Raven had helped her and made her feel safe - well, other than the whole tackling her to the ground thing, which Sam could hardly blame her for - and had taken care of her when she was terrified and hurt. She had shown her kindness when she certainly didn't have to, and for that Samantha was happy to consider her a friend. Of course she would.

It was only at Raven's questioning on whether or not Aiden had intended them to spend that much did Samantha pause, giving a laugh. "Yes, he handed me this huge wad of cash and told me to keep it," She admitted, giving a shrug as she took her half of the bags and ushered Raven towards the street. "I asked him where all the money came from, but he wouldn't tell me. I think his exact words were not to worry about it. A bit suspitious, but he insisted."

Sure, the mystery of where he'd gotten a wad of hundred dollar bills was certainly questionable, though truly Samantha wasn't that surprised that he was filthy rich considering the car he drove. Only the richest would be able to afford that car. Though, truly, she expected to be handed a credit card, not a wad of bills. "I told you, he really wanted to let us enjoy ourselves today." She gave the girl a shrug as she questioned where exactly they should go to acquire a new watch band for the man. "I've never bought anything that nice. I wasn't quite sure where I would go." She had barely got the sentence out of her lips before the image of the watch flitted to the front of her mind, clearly an indication of what Raven could do. Rather than focus on the oddity of her power, Samantha tried her best to focus on the watch she was being shown, trying to imagine what kind of watch band would look nicest paired with it. She didn't want to get an exact replica, instead wanting to personalize it for him. After all, Raven was right, it would give a personal touch that would speak of her every time he wore it.

Once the image was gone from her mind, the woman turned to Raven with a smile. "That's a useful power," She commented pleasantly. "It's certainly much more useful than mine, that's for sure." She took the lead on the duo, leading them down the sidewalk towards a line of more shops. "I think that there's a jewelry store up here, if I remember correctly. Surely the shops in this neighborhood would be best." She looked over at the woman at her last tease, glad that Raven seemed to appreciate the gesture as much as she did. The smile truly did look lovely on her companion. "He does. It's sexy." The faerie gave a small smirk towards the woman. After all, she did think Aiden was ungodly attractive, and he was hers to think that way about, wasn't he? "Still, he would look fantastic in leather."

The woman remained silent the rest of the walk, finally pulling the wolf into a shop that made Samantha herself cringe with how upscale it was. The supernatural duo certainly didn't belong in such an upscale place, and that was clear by the way the staff seemed to ignore them as they brushed over to the cabinet that held the watch bands. Samantha was silent as she looked, finally pointing out one of the black bands that she felt would look nice with the watch Raven had shown her. "What about that one?" She asked, giving her a small smile. She barely waited for Raven's opinion before she looked up at one of the staff members. "Excuse me, I'd like to bu..." The timid girl's voice trailed off as the salesman turned away from her, clearly dismissing her as though she didn't belong in the shop.
