North

Within the Northern vicinity of the city, the wealthy gather behind meticulously trimmed hedges and high-class architecture. The pristine streets are paved with stone and the storefronts are brightly lit and inviting - for the right clientele. In the North, every establishment is eager to cater to the rich and the wealthy. Many such places are used to the sometimes peculiar requests of the otherworldly but here there is little that money cannot buy - whether it happens to be illegal or merely involves looking the other way. Vampires and Dark Hunters are often found upon these Northern streets, their long lives often contributing to their sizable wealth which allows them the luxuries that the North provides.

The cocktail tasted delectable on her lips as she stood against the bar, her eyes watching the bodies on the dance floor as though they were a prey for her to hunt. And she supposed they were. Poor, unfortunate souls that would be the source of her pleasure for a short while before she broke their hearts. She knew the enticing powers she could have, how she could persuade anyone to do anything she wanted if she so chose. It had been how her and Frost had made their fortune in Las Vegas, and how she had existed before Frost to keep herself entertained as well. She was always aching for that attention. Always wanting for someone to give her that attention she craved.

She'd almost settled on one. A young warlock dancing near the DJ booth had her attention. He was cute with the dark hair that fell in those oh so blue eyes of his. He probably had a girlfriend. Girls always went for those types. Those that were dark and mysterious and oh so brooding. Edie found that she didn't care if the boy had a girlfriend or a boyfriend or whatever, she would have his attention tonight even if she had to use her powers to trap him. In fact, she was just about to push herself off the bar stool when the blonde appeared at her side. Edie's gaze fell to her, hardly finding she was as attractive as the boy she'd had her eye on - but then again Edie had never been particularly appreciative of the female form.

She was cute, Edie supposed, but not particularly her type.

"Steal something from me?" Edie tilted her head to the side in a curious manner, her red painted lips quirking up in an amused smile. "If that was an attempt at a pick up line, darling, I think you can do better." She perhaps should have walked away in pursuit of the oh so hot warlock, and yet she was staying by the blonde's side to see exactly what the woman had to say to her.
