North

Within the Northern vicinity of the city, the wealthy gather behind meticulously trimmed hedges and high-class architecture. The pristine streets are paved with stone and the storefronts are brightly lit and inviting - for the right clientele. In the North, every establishment is eager to cater to the rich and the wealthy. Many such places are used to the sometimes peculiar requests of the otherworldly but here there is little that money cannot buy - whether it happens to be illegal or merely involves looking the other way. Vampires and Dark Hunters are often found upon these Northern streets, their long lives often contributing to their sizable wealth which allows them the luxuries that the North provides.

Malek Ackerman

You're my water. You're my wine.

"Now, there's no need to hide that pretty face of yours!" Malek exclaims as he reaches out a hand to grasp her chin in his fingers gently, lifting her gaze back to his. Grinning at her happily he drops his hand back to the bar, copying Sam's movements as she polishes off her drink while Mal finishes what whiskey he has left in his glass before refilling.

After the bartender returns with yet another drink for Samantha, Malek is happy to see that she is leaning into him slightly more. Offering another joyous smile, he's pleasantly surprised to see her explaining why she's out and about tonight and to hear that she had been lonely causes a small furrow of his brows. "Such a beautiful young woman should not be lonely!" he says rather loudly as he rocks forward in his own chair until their knees are brushing.

"I won't allow you to be lonely for the remainder of your night," he says a bit more quietly as he reaches up to brush hair from his face, running a hand through his beard. As Sam leans forward even more, toppling off her stool, her hands finding his arms, he deftly steadies her by placing a hand on her hip as he echoes her joyous laughter. The bartender now completely forgotten, his own brows sky rocket as she deducts that he's a vampire.

Grinning proudly at her, he nods his head vigorously. "Yes, yes! Indeed, I am! I can assure you I haven't drank from a person in centuries, let me put your worries at rest. Even during that time of my life, I never drank from any unwilling humans," he flashes a toothy grin at her, revealing his pointed fangs. "I'm quite different from my brethren I can assure you, Sam."

"I hope I'm entertaining enough to have your presence grace the rest of my evening," he chuckles at her, his hand remaining on her hip as his thumb begins to circle her side delicately. Then he finds himself surprised once again to hear that she's a queen and she's laughing away, announcing her own royalty to the crowd of patrons. Standing casually, he steps slightly closer to shield her from the crowd of curious eyes that are now trained on the boisterous couple. "That is quite a feat! There is not much royalty in this day in age and I must say, you are the most peculiar queen I have ever met. This is the first time I've met royalty in a bar, that's female, mind you," he grins down at her again, towering over her slight frame.

Leaning slightly closer, their bodies now brushing each other, he reaches for first Sam's drink and offers it to her before he reaches for his own, sipping on it more slowly this time as he stands with her, her in between the bar and himself. "Perhaps, this beautiful faerie queen will do me a great honor in dancing with me?" He asks suddenly, though there is currently no one on the dance floor, far too early for those types of creatures to be out.

Glancing quickly around the bar, realizing his mistake he smiles at her apologetically, "Er... or perhaps you will accompany me to another bar that has dancing people?"

You're my whiskey. From time to time.
