She could tell he was enjoying himself just as much as she was. All the pain she was going through right now; it was going to be so worth it later when she could say that she was totally winning against a horse or whatever it was he liked to call himself. She'd just continue to think of him as a glorified goat. She was holding her punches probably just as much as he was. Sure, he could trample her into next week but she could be going for vital arteries and the throat if she really wanted to do something harmful. Through all this, she actually kind of found herself having fun with the other Were. He wasn't that bad, she guessed. She knew in the end, she'd lose her momentum and have to give in. It was really going to hurt her pride but she wasn't built for stamina. She was built for face to face combat with a pack to help her and she was using a lot of effort just to get the hits she was getting. When you don't have other coyotes to distract the prey, it makes it ten times harder to actually get a piece of meat between her jaws. She could hear him spitting when he bit the hair from her rump and she couldn't help the self-satisfied smirk on her lips. She hoped he choked on it. When she lunged for his front leg, he pulled it back but not without aiming his own bite at her already sore backside. She yelped in shock and pain as his teeth nipped the skin there, pinching it enough to cause a bruise a later. How dare he! She snarled and whipped her head around to nip at his nose or lips, anywhere tender enough to cause him some pain as well. That was her way of saying shame on you for going for the weak spot! Cheap move, dude. But her second move was more likely to hit since he wasn't as fast at this close combat. He needed distance to get damage done and she wasn't giving him that advantage. He instantly pulled his leg under him to kick out but she had released by then and danced off to the side to make it harder for him to hit her with his retaliating kick. She even laughed despite herself as she danced away this time, fully allowing herself to relax and really enjoy herself. It had been a long time since she'd released so much adrenaline and put her all into something. She always felt like she was restraining herself around her own pack. They were just so weak and stupid. There was just no other way to put it. But this. This was FREEING. Her head snapped around when she heard him start moving, kicking up the speed and her nose wrinkled in displeasure. Now he was getting into dangerous territory for her, adding his own speed to the mix with his much bigger size. What's he thinking? He could trample her on accident! He ran past her close enough for her to feel the wind ruffling her fur and just when she thought he might have missed on purpose, his back legs suddenly coiled beneath him and kicked out toward her. What the?! She dove to the side with a bark/growl mixture, her eyes narrowing in disbelief that he would pull something so reckless. What was he trying to do, kill her?! She didn't have much time to recover this time, the stallion coming right at her again. She dodged to the side at the last minute this time, huffing in distaste as she turned once again to watch him. He looked ready to continue doing this for as long as he needed to and she curled her lips in frustration at the thought. So this was his end game place right? Just keep running at her until she gave up? Such a manly move. Not. She knew she wouldn't be able to get a good hit on him while he kept moving like that. There's no way she'd be able to keep up with him. He'd forced her into this position. Guess that's one way to rule a pack. And yet it was just as she was used to. Her ears flattened and she ran to a tree before she sat down so he'd have to dodge the tree or risk running right into it if he ran at her full speed like he'd been doing. Then she barked at him. "OKAY, YOU'VE MADE YOUR POINT, RAPUNZEL. I GIVE. YOU WIN." |
