Sebastian EllingtonI need to feel you again, feel my lips on your skin
for one night I could be him, no, I could be better
That gift the vampire had seen fit to bestow upon his creator had a way of sorts of calming the usually volatile girl, the child giddy with glee at that massive doll house she was presented with - almost as if not but an hour before she was screaming in the remains of that ruined estate. It was baffling to the man, how easily she seemed to move from one simple joy to the next, entirely capable of just forgetting anything that upset her. Even at her age, Sebastian would have expected a bit more....permanence. Still, tonight he hardly bothered to complain of it, simply collecting child and dollhouse and chauffeuring them into an awaiting vehicle only for that car to turn back towards that lengthy trip to the airport. Lingering any longer in that foreign country hardly seemed beneficial and, to be frank, with the Dark Hunters surely after them for the damage they had caused to those neighboring guests, Sebastian hardly wished to risk any prolonged stay. It was hardly long before the pair were back upon that plane and, in turn, it too was back within the air. Their pilots and steward hard been replaced, the man who was waiting on them well aware of the probability of beaten feasted upon tonight, even though there was those icicle blood still shoved in the back of their small fridge.
There was a soft sigh of relief upon the vampire's lips as he settled in their chair, his eyes closing briefly during take off and yet, Sebastian remained wholly aware of that nearly figidity energy that existed within the young woman at his side. He was almost done with this trip, almost free of her, almost able to return to that life he'd established within that city and, too, the young man he'd taken to unspokenly courting, of sorts. That plane quickly began to level off, that light above them dimmed with a ding, the pilot's voice over ahead to inform the trio they were free to move about the cabin. That sudden frantic shift at the man's side saw his gaze flutter open with a small frown mirroring his features as he watched the young girl declare she intended to play with her newfound toy. Sebastian watched as she skipped across the aisle, clearly quite delighted with that large victorian inspired building. His elbow was placed upon the armrest of that chair, his cheek nesting in the palm of his hand as he simply watched her for several moments whilst she fretted over her dolls.
That sudden announcement caused Sebastian's eyebrows to raise ever so slightly. "Did you?" He commented, hardly aware exactly of what she spoke of. Rather, it was the announcement of that 'traitor' that prompted the man's interest. The very mysterious soul he was supposed to keep an eye out for and yet, even in this semi-broken state Anna-Marie still seemed to have some notion of that being. He'd considered asking after it, at least, until the girl inquired as to whether or not she could have kitties again. "Perhaps..." The vampire uttered softly before prompting the girl, hoping that maybe this innocent talk of the past might provide him with more information then what he had gleaned so far. "What kind of kitties did you used to have? Those kitties must have liked you quite a lot to protect you, hm? Cats have always seemed particularly...finicky creatures." Sebastian had never kept a pet of his own but it was particularly well known that felines were rather independent creatures, rarely loving unless it was on their terms.
