Henry hadn't meant to make Sterling feel self-conscious about his advances. Truthfully, Henry enjoyed them, craved them even. But he hadn't wanted to be the one who went too far. He was trying so hard to go slow for Sterling, to give him every part of him except his physical love. But the desires that Sterling was bringing forth were making it very hard for Henry to be able to separate himself in this moment. He could stop if asked, but it would be difficult. Henry just didn't want to get himself too worked up if there was no hope for something further.

As Sterling shifted back in his lap instead of being pressed against him, Henry sighed. He was finally realizing how horrible his words had been to Sterling...how it had made him feel. Henry felt like an ass. He drew Sterling into a gentle hug as he rested his head on his chest. However, he quickly put a finger beneath his chin to draw his gaze towards him. "I didn't mean to be a dick." He pressed his lips softly to Sterling's lips in a chaste kiss. "I'm not going anywhere this time. We both made our mistakes...and we've learned enough to not make them again. I'm confident in this." He offered his love a soft smile before kissing his lover softly again.

He pulled Sterling close to him again, wanting to feel the closeness to the one person he couldn't live without. "I didn't mean to upset you. I cannot help how much I love you and how much you being so close to me effect me...I just want to respect the pace you want to set. I don't want to be too forward with my love." He offered a light shrug. No doubt Sterling could feel just how much he wanted him. Henry couldn't help that. What Henry could help was what he did next.

Pulling Sterling closer, he let his lips caress the neck of Sterling, pressing all the right buttons. He stared at the base of his neck, moving his kisses gently up his neck to the base of his jaw and to his ear lobe. He playfully nipped at Sterling's earlobe before moving his kisses along his jaw until he reached his lover's lips. "I love you, Sterling...more than I can ever put into words." Perhaps that was why Henry put so much stock into the sex with Sterling. He didn't know how to show his love other than that. Perhaps he would learn other appropriate ways in time. But he would need Sterling's help. He never had been one to word his emotions well.
