Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

if these wings could fly for the rest of our lives
Okay so, maybe stalking a vampire was not the highest on the list of safe things to do and yet...here she was. Abigail knew she was being...well...creepy but she definitely wasn't a creepy person! She was just trying to boost her own courage. It was like this huge mental mountain and she was so stuck on getting to the top of all that 'oh my gawd my best friend is going to hate me' thing that she was totally oblivious that her stalking might set off those internal alarm bells. After all, even animals knew when they were being watched! It was like this super power thing! What she was certain of, however, was that her Arlo was ducking into an alleyway and it was finally time to come face to face with him, quite literally. She paused around the corner of that ally, her back pressed against the brick of the building as she focused on her breath. The woman was entirely content to take a moment to give herself a little pep talk of how awesome this surely would be and that he had promised to take her to that nifty giant grocery store and he couldn't possibly hate her after the last year they'd spent together, right? Plus, after last time, she was pretty sure he suspected something was up. It was better to introduce herself properly than to have him figure it out, right? Abigail nodded firmly to herself, that resolve temporarily present enough for her to step around the corner only to find....nothing at all. Well that was anti-climatic.

Abigail's hazel eyes wondered down the walls of that alleyway, the girl tentatively stepping into that darkness, all the while clutching that guitar close to her like a shield. Arlo had a way of always making her feel safe, even in the darkness of such dingy places. Hell, even as a Panda she'd felt safe, if only that most people chose to ignore what they incorrectly identified as a raccoon. But like this? Like this the young woman found herself almost nervous as she stepped further into that alleyway, her thoughts fully focused on what she was going to do now that she'd lost her friend. The thought of just sitting in front of his door till he came home just seemed somehow worse. A soft sigh left her lips as she considered admitting defeat till tomorrow only for a familiar voice to call out to her - a voice she knew. Arlo! He hadn't left her after all! Abigail halted quite abruptly in her path, her gaze searching for that figure of the man she knew only to quite suddenly have him appear in front of her.
She could hardly help that sound of surprise that left her lips, the woman nearly dropping that guitar in the process as she stumbled back several steps. Of course she knew he could do that but it was a bit different being tucked in his hood rather than a man just randomly materializing in front of her. "You shouldn't DO that! You can terrify people! Are you trying to kill me?!" She inquired quite before she could help herself, her poor little heart! It was all hammary! Doubly so by the simple fact that - oh my god there was Arlo. The realization of just whom she was finally talking to quite near smacked her in the face. So much for all of that preparation! Slowly, Abigail repositioned her grasp upon that guitar case, suddenly vastly more aware of the vampire in front of her now that she'd found him...and almost died of a heart attack. That inquiry of whether or not she was following him, however, brought a light pink hue to her cheeks. He knew she was a stalker?! This was even worse then what she had imagined!

"I...uh...er...." The girl started in rebuttal only to find herself at a loss for words, instead letting the vampire continue only to...offer to allow her to continue stalking him? She stared at him blankly for a moment. "Why?" She inquired naively, somehow vastly confused on why he'd want a stalker! She didn't want a stalker! She didn't even want to be a stalker and now he was just letting her?! Still....maybe this was a good sign that he wasn't totally adverse to her...right? If he wanted her to keep stalking him then that meant he didn't hate her....right?! The young girl bit her bottom lip in a small display of hesitance before her lips parted, those words falling out of her mouth in a near breathless rush. "I....I was looking for you. I...I'm super duper sorry, okay?! I didn't know how to tell you but then you met Mr. Chocolate man and I think he must have told you something because I think you were starting to figure it out but I wanted to tell you before you figured it out because maybe then you wouldn't be so mad at me but please don't hate me okay!? I didn't mean for it to go on for SO long, I know, I know, it was like a whole year and I shouldn't have waited so long but, ugh, I'm making excuses aren't I? I'm sorry, I bought you a guitar, please don't be mad? You're my best friend, Arlo, and I - I want to make it better."

Abigail paused to breath before thrusting that guitar towards the man, those large hazel eyes entirely set upon him alone before fluttering down towards the guitar as a new thought dawned on her. "I...I thought it was super neat but I learned today that there are different kinds of guitars and you never played one for me and I don't know if I bought the right kind but I have my receipt and he said we could return it and a better one if you wanted?" She paused to fish that small piece of paper from the depths of that jacket before too holding it out to him. See! She'd thought it all through! If he didn't like this guitar (a fact she was pretty sure was impossible), then she could just get him another one that he might like better! And then everything would be good -- right?
