Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale
Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.
Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.
Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.
River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.
He had hoped that kissing Malia would have made him feel a jolt of electricity that he had been missing since attacking Sterling. He missed his boyfriend and he hoped that the man wasn't dead. He hoped that he had gotten him to the hospital in time and that he had been saved. Shit. If he had killed Sterling, how could he ever forgive himself? He couldn't. So hopefully, this kiss would help him clear his mind.
But it was Malia's innocence on the matter that gave him pause. He sighed at her question. "It's supposed to feel good...straight to your core." He wasn't exactly sure he wanted to describe it as stoking her desire...but he hoped she might feel the kiss and know exactly where it hit her.
He watched her sit on the bed, explaining that she had never really found anyone worth kissing or nuzzling or whatever else coyotes did. He eased himself onto the bed beside her, cursing himself that this hotel room only had one bed in it. He would have much rather sat on the bed across from her to thwart his desires. Despite all that had happened, he had a primal need that needed met. Malia was here and available...but learning that she had never participated in anything remotely like what he needed made him uneasy.
Her question was so innocent and he sighed. He nodded his head softly. "There are lots of things...but I don't think you're ready for them." He wasn't about to pressure her into trying something she had never done before. "Your human body is capable of some pretty pleasurable shit." He paused a moment. "I know you know what coyotes do when they mate..." He paused again, making sure that she was keeping up with him. "People do those things too...but we do it for fun, not to make pups or cubs." He knew that talking sex-ed to Malia was probably not the best idea, but she asked and he was going to answer her to the best of his ability. "But...I'm not the person to teach you those things. You don't do that with just anyone...only people you care for." Okay...so that was at least getting her off on the right foot. At least she wouldn't turn into a slut on his watch.
