Hawethorn Village

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

we all fall down like toy soldiers

As a child there had been no such thing as personal space. Everyone was always in at least one other persons business at all times. It was almost mandatory. Finn was almost always curled up close to Lore; they weren't too apart in age and were the smallest. But he had never wanted to be left out, so he coveted that which his brothers held dear. They had the same parts that he did, that made them the same, equals and they subjected each other to teasing and rough housing and banter just like any group of boys. But if an outsider tried it, it was almost like a pack of hungry hyenas came to feast, a circling of the wagons against any who dare encroach on their territory.

This scenario was a bit different.

Finn had entered Dav's territory while the other had been incapacitated, provoking a brotherly war that would probably end with Finn getting his ass beat. Which wouldn't be the first time.

When Dav first moved to the City, Finn had tried staying put. He worked at the local garage, he flirted and teased and tried getting Troy to do the same. But other man hadn't wanted to partake in it and it was only days later that he'd packed a bag and followed the breadcrumbs to Dav's doorstep. Of course he hadn't really given Dav a choice, he'd showed up like a lost puppy and was taken in. This was becoming a habit. Maybe he needed to stop it at one point.

It had only been the previous night that he had slept soundly in a long time. He never did sleep as well after returning home the first time as a child.

Finn hadn't expected this scenario to be peaceful.

He was right. Church leapt straight into the air just as the spoon hit Dav and as soon as that happened his brother bolted upright in the bed at the same time the door pinned Finn to the threshold.

"Uh..."

He stutters out. "Uh...Because I was...attempting to make pancakes? Does that seem like I added too much salt?" He asks, gesturing with a hand towards the spoon. Noticing afterwards that that was probably not a good time to ask about his lack of cooking skills.

"Becauseâ€"I have something for you." He tries again.

"Or...because I'll haunt you for eternity if I perish in such an unmanly way."
