Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale
Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.
Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.
Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.
River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.
Amelia waited almost impatiently for Troy, her finger doing lazy circles on the satin sheets. She thought about how much she loved the man and had already decided long before now that she was madly, deeply in love with him and there wasn't a single thing that would ever change her mind. She had waited hundreds of years for a love like this and she was so very happy that she had finally found it.
Her thoughts were interrupted as Troy came to stand in the doorway, leaning against it as his eyes feasted on her naked body as it laid out before him. His confession that she was beautiful had a smile pulling to the corners of her lips. And when he confessed that he wanted to take this moment and put it away for his own personal reflection later, she laughed lightly. "You have a phone with a camera..." She paused for a moment. "...so use it." Her voice was thick with lust, her eyes hungry for him. And yet through all of this, she was still smiling at him, silently daring him to take a picture of this moment and view it later. So long as his eyes were the only ones that would ever fall on this image, she was alright with her picture being taken.
Her eyes watched as he came towards the bed, expecting him to crawl onto it and join her. Instead, his body paused at her bedside before kneeling before her. Eyes searched his for an explanation before they were pulled away to watch him grab her hand and bring it to his lips. She was silent, knowing that he had something important to tell her. She listened carefully, her body slowly rising to a sitting position, her legs hanging over the side of the bed so she could sit on the edge with his body nestled between her open legs. The moment he expressed his desire for her to marry him, her hands immediately moved to cup his cheeks, drawing him closer to her. And when he was face to face with her, she pressed her lips to his in a kiss full of love and affection.
She kissed him long and hard for several second (nearly a minute), before she broke the kiss and pulled back to stare him right in the eye. Hands moved to wrap around his neck, playing with the curls of his hair. "I've waited hundreds of years to find you, Troy. You mean the world to me and I would be overjoyed to be your wife." She slowly pulled his body forward so he was flush against the bed. Lips kissed him deeply again as she stood, bringing him with her.
Once they were both on their feet, she pressed her body into his, her hands tugging at the hem of his shirt in order to pull it over his head. She only broke their kiss long enough to remove his shirt and toss it on the floor haphazardly. "Did you forget something, Troy?" She winked playfully at him as she extended her hand to his...the same hand in which a engagement ring might be placed. She hoped he didn't ask her in the heat of the moment. She wanted that ring. She wanted it not because she wanted the extra bling...but because it meant that he had thought long and hard about this important decision. It meant that he had no regrets.
