Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Residences

Chizue snuggled up comfortable against that sofa, her large oversized sweater near envelope her petite frame as she rested her head against the leather pillows. With Isolt's wedding coming up soon, her roommate had been frequently absent from that townhome they both shared, leaving the demure vampire to the sweet comfort of isolation - the very kind of environment that was perfect for a night spent in front of the fireplace with a book in her lap and a mug of hot chocolate on the side table next to her. That page turned slowly as the young woman continue that love story of a young boy hunting for his the very love of his life whom everyone seemed to forget. It was a tragic tale, really, and in turn, Chizue was so invested with the Asian novel that she hardly realized that the sound of the doorbell was her front door. After all, with those townhomes being so close together, it was almost easy for her to dismiss any sound for someone else's company. It was the second ring that sent the girl rushing towards the door, her book left on the coffee table. Her socked feet shuffled quickly towards the entryway, only to tentatively push the door open.

Her eyes widened at the sight of Malek standing on her doorstep. She hadn't expected to see the man again, that night they'd had together was...a mistake, one she'd been too embarrassed about to seek him out again. Chizue hadn't thought that he'd come search for her. In fact, she had no idea he even knew where she lived and yet....here he was, on her doorstep. In the darkness, she could hardly see the blood that coated his locks and stained his skin, but she could smell it. The coppery scent hit her nose to the point that the young woman stepped back, that aura of colors that danced around his skin was a distinct dark blue hue, a color that was not good at all. The sound of her name on his lips caused her hand to raise to her mouth, for a moment, she was almost unsure of what to do. After all, she could hardly fault him for....whatever had happened. They were vampires. Feeding was in their nature. Even she had experienced...accidents before, even if she didn't like to dwell on them.

"Come in." She commented, moving out of the way as she gestured further into that immaculate house. It was only once he was inside the light of that living room that Chizue was given a glance at the true extent of the blood that coated his frame. A small frown marred her features as she stared at him for a moment. She wanted to ask what had happened, what was wrong....but such a question would likely cause him more distress. "Um....I'll get the shower started, okay? If you want to give me your clothes while you wash it all off I can put them in the laundry and we'll get you all right as rain." She nodded quite firmly, certain that this was the best course of action. After all, she couldn't very well leave him in such a state and admittedly, at the moment she was rather at a loss of any other ideas to fix the obviously disturbed man. The girl hardly waited for an answer before turning on her heels, intending to do exactly as she had said. Regardless of what had happened between them, she did find herself rather liking Malek and he clearly needed her.
