Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale
Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.
Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.
Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.
River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.
Nadya was beyond confused at the appearance of Edie on their doorstep. Without a pack bond and Frost ever mentioning where the woman had gone or even that she would be returning...the panther had nothing to go by. Past interactions with Edie had been sketchy at the best of times but they had shared a mutual respect as Betas. That alone was perhaps what made Nadya decide to help guide Edie into the house. She'd have to call Frost later but for now she'd figure out all the details on what was going on.
She placed the obviously shaken and scraped up woman on the couch opposite of her children. By all accounts Edie had never given Nadya the impression that she would go after children so having her in the same room as them didn't bother her. She was quite sure she could crumple the woman before making it to them anyways. "Yeah...kids do that." Nadya commented back lightly. Once Nadya had Edie settled on the couch she questioned her with a raised brow of curious confusion which nearly mirrored her daughters. Nadya settled on the edge of the low coffee table in front of Edie as she listened to the broken story. Kato...the name of Edie's mate she had heard only once during a conversation after she had healed Edie before. So they had been traveling for some reason and then hunters had found them because...mixed breed? It took a moment for Nadya to understand by both her words and Edie's placement of her hand over her abdomen what it meant. "...You're...pregnant."
This was a very sticky situation indeed that she had never had to deal with before. How could she comfort this one? There was no telling what had happened to her mate though in most instances regarding hunters it was never really a good outcome. "I....I'm sure he's fine. He's probably just taking them on a detour before taking care of them...he's smart I'm sure and will take the long way home to make sure he's not followed." It was what Nadya would do if it meant the safety of her family. Nadya glanced over her shoulder where her twins were still seated, "Go play in your room." "Mama-" "Go." Izzy's attempt at a whine to remain was shut down quickly and the little girl huffed off with her brother upstairs to their room.
Once the twins were gone Nadya stood from her seat, "I'll be right back." She disappeared into the bathroom briefly, returning with a wet washcloth which she handed to Edie as she sat back down. "Here, for your cuts." Nadya watched the woman for a moment to see if she'd clean the blood off herself at least. "I can take care of those if you want." She loosely held her hand out, palm up, offering to heal Edie's scraps and any other injuries she might have gathered internally that the woman may not have noticed yet. If the woman was pregnant then it was best to make sure everything was healthy for it.
