Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale
Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.
Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.
Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.
River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.
Nadya's fierce protectiveness over her packmates near rivaled Frost's own. If Scarlett hadn't finished the hunters then she surely would have snuffed them out for her. It was that protectiveness that had Nadya quickly overcome the sudden fright at Scarlett's other half and rush to her side. Frost's appearance was more than welcomed as he quickly assessed the situation and ordered her to return back home to prepare to take out the bullet himself. Of course there was doubt in her mind but she turned on heel and raced back as fast as her panther's natural agile ability could take her.
She was swift in locking the twins in their room and pulling everything she thought they would need into the living room. Large towel for Scarlett to lay on, first aid kit with tweezers, a pot of warm water, and plenty of towels. It was safe to say Nadya had no idea what she was doing as she glanced down at those materials she had laid out. It was that sudden dull in Scarlett's pack bond which she had been holding on to which had her head whipping towards the back door as Frost barreled through it to the living room. Nadya followed on his heels as he placed Scarlett down on the floor and kneeled on her other side. "Where are you-?" She had hardly pressed that towel to the wolf's wound as directed before Frost was hurrying from the room upstairs. Her worried gaze fell back on her packmate. "You're ok, we've got you." She wished there was more confidence in her tone than there was. She didn't want to lose her friend.
"Where did you get that?" Nadya eyed the bag Frost pulled those ridiculously long tweezers out from with suspicion. And then he was shoving the small tweezers into her hand telling her she had to keep the wound open with them. What?! Though Frost was moving at such a hurried pace she had to hurry as well to keep up and Nadya was soon following his orders and using those tweezers in definitely not the method they were intended for. It was a good thing she wasn't squeamish at blood. The once more worried look in that tense moment as Frost dug into that wound for the bullet felt like a lifetime. Nadya's gaze kept flicking over to Scarlett's eyes to ensure she wasn't waking. It would do nobody any good if she woke with Frost digging around in her wound.
Luckily Frost's tweezers worked and the bullet fragment stuck to it and was quickly pulled out leaving Nadya to hurriedly toss aside her own pair and return the towel back to press on the wound. "Are you sure?" It was hard for Nadya not to immediately heal anyone in her pack. Though even the twin's doctor had told her not to heal every booboo as it could limit their own natural healing ability over time. Surely a bullet wound was more than a scraped knee that she was allowed to heal. She hardly had any time to debate it before she felt a stirring beneath her hand and immediately looked down to see Scarlett's eyes fluttering open. "Hey there, take it easy, just relax." A soft smile crossed her worried features. "You gave us quite a scare there. Everything's going to be fine now though; the hunters are gone and the bullet is out. You'll be chasing butterflies again in no time."
