Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale
Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.
Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.
Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.
River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.
Alexis hardly ever spoke about the Dark Hunter she had grown close to. The only time the lupine knew Alexis had been with him was when she came back with her scent mixed strongly with his own. The vixen hardly ever spoke about him, and that was okay with her. However, if she ever came back crying or showed any signs of mistreatment, he would have a lot of very unhappy Weres to deal with. Although right now the Fae King was making Raven unhappy with this talk of bestowing gold for her child. He was a child. He had no use for gold, golden anything. It was ridiculous. Giving her the golden tea set for their wedding was a very kind gesture, and at times she was nervous to use it, afraid it would break. It was a silly, but having anything in gold was just not something she was accustomed to having. And she didn't want her child growing up being spoiled. Surely having numerous golden things would make the child think this is what he deserved, which was surely not the case. The idea of naming a building after her children was even more abused than gifting him with gold. A building should be named after a corporation or an individual that was quite successful. All her child would have done was breathe and live, and that was expected. The only suggestion she approved of was the donation to charity in his name. She could live with this. It was the better option between the three of them. Give his previous gold to charity and not her child? Absolutely perfect! Hearing him admit to considering it made a large grin appear, quite pleased with herself, and to end the argument she decided to strike him with a biscuit right in the middle of his forehead. He seemed shocked, but fascinated with her gift. This particular gift was a very good gift, very useful for many different scenarios.
If she would lose that gift she would be devastated. This was the one gift she used on a daily basis that made things much easier for her. Every single time they were alone together they hardly had much time to speak and discuss things in private. They were either in a public setting or they were interrupted by another guest. What she wanted to discuss with him was something that she didn't think he would be pleased to speak about. The dead rabbit coming to life, she couldn't shake that memory off, and she would like to get some answers about it. Her head titled to the side as he appeared to struggle, which was quite uncommon, the man was capable of speaking so eloquently without pause. Leaning in more towards him from the table she watched him carefully, quite curious with what he had to say. Blue-grey eyes widened in shock as he explained just what his gift was. To control life itself was....shocking. Whispering softly she nodded in agreement.
That someone had the ability to give life or easily take it away, it was...it would be horrible if others found out. The consequences would be serve if this piece of information was leaked. Of course he could rely on her to keep her mouth shut. She would never tell a soul. But he kept this fact away from her. She had the right to know. Easily she grabbed more biscuits with her telekinesis and started to throw them at him as an onslaught. Hissing her voice held an accusing, but playful tone.
