Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

His Royal Majesty

Dorian Ellington-Aragona

The King of Italy

How terribly eager the Monarch so found himself to show off the rest of Italy to his brother! Aiden, after all, had surely never seen the delights of the city of Naples, nor those buildings and monuments, the great bays and harbours or the wonderful mountain regions that rose from the oceanic surroundings to reach toward the clouds. How glorious a day they would have now that those more official duties had, for now, so been attended too. Dorian in turn inclined to find himself equally to ride within that car with his sibling once more. So much so that the Monarch was not at all inclined to have that very drive spoiled with his security and their continual worry. If that car could travel as fast as Aiden had pushed it those moments prior then he was certain they were safe from anything or anyone whom might wish them any great harm. Besides, no one would expect the very King of Italy to be riding within that glorious car all the same. By that logic alone it would hardly be a target and with those roads already cleared for them by the Police they would surely have no interruptions. Dorian's very efforts to explain those road rules, or lack thereof, seemed to coax a look of bafflement to his siblings features. The Fae Kings efforts to further clarify those finer points only increased the very confusion upon Aidens face all the more as the Alpha so queried that diplomatic immunity and just how far that veritable blanket of protection might stretch. Those very questions coaxing a momentary contemplation to Dorians features in turn. The Monarch so offering those accented words then.

"It is a combination of all those things. As Matteo's legal son you have diplomatic immunity in every country in the world, as my brother you have diplomatic immunity in any country or territory I rule and any car in which I travel is immediately granted absence from law. If one wishes to be technical you are diplomatically immune three times over. It is your status as Matteo's son though which carries the most protection."

A ready simper so found the Monarchs features then. Dorian wholly oblivious to any notion his sibling so may have had of using that very immunity for those less then legal purposes. The Fae King was quick to settle himself within that car then as he so waited for Aiden to finalise those details with Stefano in regards to his own car. Dorian wholly aware this his own presence so surely resulted in that decidedly astute customer service and yet the Monarch had perhaps become decidedly used to such things. Aiden so hardly took long to see to those details before moving to settle within the car beside him. Dorian was once more inclined to feel a decided thrill at the prospect of that drive and the very roar of the engine beneath them. His security team hurried to get to their own cars as Aiden piloted that vehicle from within that warehouse and out onto the neatly cleared Italian streets. His sibling commented on that clear and present emptiness as Dorian so merely chuckled.

"I do not, how you say, 'kid' very often. I am not terribly good at it."

Aiden so readily took advantage of the open road, his brother pressing upon that accelerator and sending that car flying forward (much to the utter panic of that following security team). How thrilling it was to drive at such speeds! How different it was to those normal sedate and otherwise bland drives he was so often subject to. Dorian, at that moment, was near assured he might never tire of such things! Those very landmarks all but flashed by them at such speeds and yet the Monarch so strove to point them out to his sibling all the same. Dorian, after all, was nothing if not proud of that city he had called home for so many centuries. Aiden, he suspected, was perhaps not so terribly.....keen upon that history as Sebastian and himself were inclined to be and yet Dorian so persisted with his efforts all the same. The Monarch inclined to point out those grand fountains and towering cathedrals, the great plazas and famous statues and too those places of historical significance. Even if most were a veritable blur. That city so quickly gave way to an ever glorious mountain road that wove along the very edge of mountain itself and above the glistening blue ocean. Dorian, this time, so pointing out the historical ruins of Pompeii in the shadow of Vesuvius. That deadly volcano was still as irritable as it had always been. Its history so inclined to fascinate the Monarch even despite its somewhat near....gory detail. This, if nothing else, seemed to prompt Aiden's intrigue as he asked after those people. Dorian so merely shaking his head.

"The bodies decayed a long time ago, what is left is merely the moulds of them, the rock and lava hardened and dried like...ah.....I am not sure of the word in English....er.....pegamento cemento." (cement)

Dorian, once more, so reached for that Spanish they shared. The Fae king offered those few words within that other language before continuing that explanation.

"The city has been excavated now. It is a tourist attraction, a Roman city caught within time, but no one lives there permanently any longer like they once did."

That road veered back toward the city then, Dorian affording Pompeii that final glance before his attention returned to Naples in its entirety, the sight of his own palace so rising within its center eagerly prompted the Monarch to point toward it then before querying Aiden on just what sort of room he might prefer. The man so insisting he hardly minded any more then he minded so going to those places Dorian pleased. That very response so prompted a soft chuckle from the Fae King. Dorian eyeing his sibling with amusement then.
"Do you know, Aidan. For an Alpha, you do not hold very much by way of preferences? You need not please me. You are my guest, after all, if there is something you desire to see or do you need only ask it."

How unusual it was for a man in such a position of power to be so very...lax in those decisions regarding his own wants! Dorian, in that moment, perhaps mistaking his siblings non-committal responses for simple politeness on the hispanic fellows part. The car rolled down and into that driveway then, the automatic gates opening eagerly for them as Aiden drove up and to that palace entrance. The pair, at last, away from those crowds that so eternal seemed to gather. The shining new car was perfect perfectly beside that red carpet, the vehicle no sooner having some to a halt then a pair of servants rushed forward to open the doors for them. Dorian and Aiden afforded that moment to step from the car and head through those towering doors and into that impossibly grand entrance hall with its towering ceilings and polished marble that spoke of grandeur and wealth alike. Dorian's query of just what his sibling thought however was met with the WerePanthers near blunt insistence it was creepy. That very description so prompted Dorian's gaze to snap sharply towards his sibling in clear surprise at such an answer. The Monarch, after all, had never been told by any being that anything he owned was anything less than exceptional. Dorian, for perhaps the first time in rather a long time, so monetarily considering just how often he might be lied to as King. Those people around him so often sought his favour at any price. Aiden, however, was so apparently not such a man. That very discovery managed to coax a small simper of bemused curiosity to the Fae's features. Aiden continued to insist it was terribly 'stoney' and entirely too quiet. Those descriptions prompted Dorian to lift a singular eye upward.

"I think it is rather supposed to be 'stoney' it is made of marble, Aiden. As for the carpets, most of the formal dining and living areas are carpeted, along with my wing and the guest wings. Entrance halls are not usually carpeted. An entrance hall is designed to astound one's guests. Carpet is not considered astounding. Do you really think it's creepy? I am over five hundred years old and no one had ever been brave enough to tell me that- or any of the Kings before me."

That look of bemusement so hardly faltered upon the Monarch's features. Did others find that hall creepy too? Perhaps he might need to renovate that hall as well. Hmm. He would need to speak with Sebastian this evening. Dorian so gestured for Aiden to follow then. The Monarch leading the way up that grand staircase, and several more, the vast majority of those hallways with door after door ignored. Dorian content to lead his sibling to that uppermost level before gesturing to the left.

"Sebastian and I live mostly upon this level. Bastian is sleeping right now so I shan't take you into my room, not that he would wake up. Vampires are terribly difficult to wake in the day. Yet I should not like to disturb him all the same. This wing, over here, to the right, shall be your own for your stay here. It has its own reception room, living room, dining room, bedroom and bathroom. The servants will attend you. You need only let them know when you desire something. Come, I shall show it to you. It has carpet."

A warm simper so found the Monarch's features then as Dorian moved to lead the way into that lavish apartment, those large double doors closed behind him once more. Those rooms were nothing short of glorious decorated. Trimmins of gold and red and royal blue decorated that suite, the vast majority of that furniture made of nothing less than polished mahogany wood, those intricate carvings that depicted the grinnifs of Dorian's own sigil adorned much of the furniture, each beast inlaid in gold in turn. The carpet beneath their feet was impossibly plush, that fireplace in the living room was already and spreading a comfortable warmth throughout. Dorian moved to lead the way to the bedroom then, the Monarch gesturing towards that distinctly enormous four poster bed and the window beyond.

"You should have a splendid view of the gardens from there, they go for miles, your welcome to explore them as you like. The bathroom is through there. It has recently been refurbished. It has a rather splendid spa bath. There is a television in there too if such appeals to you later. You don't find this creepy too do you? I can find you something else if you dislike this apartment?"

It would, after all, never do to haven Aiden uncomfortable! Dorian so meeting his siblings gaze near expectantly then. The Monarch rather hoped his brother might at least like those offered rooms. It was....important....somehow.....that Aiden approved of that space. Though why Dorian so desired that very approval he hardly knew. It was simply important that his very own brother might enjoy his time here. Aiden the very first of any of his brothers to show any true like for his company at all!

"Unless there is something you should care to do first I should like to head downstairs once more to the garage. I have quite a splendid idea I should like to try."
