Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

With comfortable ease, the vampire lounged upon the expansive of the freshly made bed, his sapphire gaze settled upon the phone in his hand as he flipped through the emails that filled his inbox. The vampire made little move to dress, despite the upcoming meeting with the garden society. Dorian, after all, still had yet to return from his abrupt afternoon with his brother and Sebastian still found himself feebly hoping he might still a moment from his lover before they were once again thrust into the responsibilities the royal couple had committed to. It was the sound of the bedroom door opening that brought the deep blue of his gaze upwards, that smile upon his features faltering only at the glimpse of concern upon his husband's face. "What happened?" He inquired his brows near immediately furrowing. The very last thing that he anticipated was to hear of the very fate of the Ark. His lover's insistence that he was needed to help with the fleet of now homeless vehicles was quick to rouse the vampire from the warm comfort of their bed. He was quick to dress, even if his wardrobe was far more casual, his own thoughts turning with questions that Dorian was incapable of answering.

His fingers deftly moved down the front of his button-down shirt, his attention deviating only at the sound of his husband's Italian lit. He glanced up at the mirror he stood in front of, watching his lover in the reflection. "Of course, Ma Bichette," Sebastian responded promptly. He knew, after all, the importance of family to his husband, particularly after the fae had spent the majority of his life believing he was alone. His fingers deftly finished the last button on his shirt, leaving the top two undone as he turned from the mirror. "Come, let's see to these cars." Those very words were all that was necessary before the pair made their way downstairs and towards the small congregation gathering within their living room. Effortlessly, the vampire took charge of their staff directing them as they piled into those black SUVs. A singular glance backward was given towards his lover, the vampire assuring his Monarch they would return back soon before he closed the door of the car behind him.

Silence filled the SUV as the vehicle quickly made its way towards the Western Docks, their license plate and Sebastian's presence allowing the car to travel far faster than speed limits might otherwise allow, the late-night to contributed to the little traffic and, in turn, their quick appearance upon the pier. How...bizarre it was to see the Warehouse District without the imposing cargo ship filling the horizon, Sebastian greeted with nothing but a view of the open sea as they continued closer and closer towards the Ark's resting place. The very last thing Sebastian anticipated, as they merged off the highway, was the sight of a blue Aventador speeding by, the vehicle hardly staying in the lines as it broke the speed limit in the opposite direction the procession was going. The vampire's brows furrowed and yet, he said little of his observations as they sped along the docks. It was nearly ten minutes later that the SUV began to slow, the vehicle's headlights cutting through the darkness only to reveal the collection of sportscars awaiting them. His door was opened for him, the vampire hardly pausing as he stepped out of the vehicle. His very presence prompted Aiden to rise, his name upon the Hispanic man's lips.

"Aiden, Dorian told me what happened. I'm glad you're okay." He answered, his hand fitting firmly within Aiden's own in a brief greeting. For all that stress that so clearly permeated the Were-King - from his tense shoulders to the fluttering of his heart, Aiden seemed quick to cut to business, offering the vampire the keys to one of those treasured vehicles. For a brief moment, the navy hue of his irises swept over the young woman at Aiden's side, noting the same...rigidity to her clearly protective stance. How...interesting. She was a pretty thing, of that the Incubus could not deny and yet, it was something else that had truly captured Sebastian's attention. It seemed it was not just Aiden they would be taking in. He said little of those observations, however, his attention deviated back towards the staff that surrounded him. Sebastian was quick to coordinate his staff, each one was given a vehicle whilst Aiden busied himself with that sleek ebony Bugatti their family had purchased for his birthday. At the very least, Sebastian was pleased to see that car had survived unscratched, after all the effort they had gone through for it.

"Aiden! Are you ready?" Sebastian called as he moved to the driver's side door of his own vehicle, his voice alone clearly interrupting some conversation between Aiden and the woman at his side. Immediately, Aiden's attention turned back towards him, the Were-King nodding in agreement before settling in the Noir, the woman beside him moving to the motorcycle that clearly awaited her. For a moment, Sebastian's gaze lingered inquisitively upon her, the roar of the Bugatti's engine alone prompted his movement as he settled in the luxurious leather seats of his own designated Lamborghini. How...utterly wonderful that vehicle was, the roar of the engine near coaxing to be utilized as the vampire placed his hands on the steering wheel. A part of him would have enjoyed seeing how far he could push the car, his vampiric reflexes surely capable of enjoying all that the vehicle had to offer him and yet...it was not his vehicle to play with. That very fact prompted Sebastian to remain at the speed limit, the black and green Venero easily sliding next to Mira's left, behind the black Noir that led the veritable parade through the West.

It hardly took long before they left those sketchier streets in favor of the manicured ones of the North, the procession of vehicles continuing unhindered towards the guarded mansion that Sebastian and Dorian called home. The gates of their estate readily opened at their very presence, omitting the luxury parade of vehicles, each parked with distinct care along the large circular drive of their estate. Sebastian shut off the Venero, stepping from the vehicle only to collect the keys of the various cars from his staff. Each member was quickly dismissed to return to their duties, the gates surely requiring far more studious guarding with Aiden's fleet of vehicles upon display for all to see. He nodded briefly towards the door of the home, already aware that Aiden had fetched his bags from the trunk. His brother-in-law quickly fell into step behind him, accompanied by both the mysterious woman with Aiden as well as Sebastian's own manservant.

The vampire only just stepped over the threshold of the home when he was greeted with two enthusiastic dogs, Maxwell and Prescott thrilled to rush towards him as if he had been gone for days rather than less than a mere hour. Lightly, his hand brushed across the pair's heads as he passed them towards the livingroom - Maxwell taking a keen interest in the strange woman, albeit with some aloofness while Prescott was so eager to lick every inch of Aiden's hand he was able to reach. The Englishman had only just reached his lover's side when Aiden's voice cut off that inquiry with one that too lingered upon Sebastian's mind - where was Matteo? He had, after all, witnessed that Aventador fly down the highway, surely it would have arrived back to their estate by now? A small frown crossed his features as Dorian shook his head, insisting that he had not heard from the Frenchman either. The weight of his lover's silver irises upon him prompted a small shrug of Sebastian's shoulders, the vampire entirely uncertain as to what might have prompted Matteo to be so...late. Even he could hardly help that small hint of worry.

Those unanticipated feminine notes drew the weight of the vampire's navy gaze towards the woman at Aiden's side. Her suggestion was...sound, calling Matteo was perhaps they only way they might find the teleporting fae and yet, it was the way she spoke of Sebastian's father-in-law that suggested she was oblivious of the relationship Aiden had with the Frenchman. They, clearly, were as much strangers to her as she was to them. How...odd that Aiden might seem so determined to compartmentalize so fiercely. Sebastian was hardly oblivious of her plump sweetheart lips, even as she presented them with a warm, welcoming smile. Her exotic colored skin certainly appealing, her very scent spoke of her species and yet, a part of the vampire could not help but to consider what she might be like to enjoy....to taste. Such thoughts were ones he certainly had no intention of acting upon, the Incubus so frequently contemplating such forbidden things even if he remained nothing if not steadfastly loyal to his marriage.

The Prince offered the young woman a simper of his own as his lover introduced him and yet, it was that very declaration of Aiden's staff that prompted Sebastian to deviate from those usual pleasantries so required of him. "Ah, Ma Biche, I do not think she is Aiden's staff..." He commented as his hand rose, his fingers folded into a fist with just his pinkie extended. The gesture was one he knew well Dorian would understand, that bright crimson thread that dangled between the pair entirely obvious to the Englishman. He had noticed that thread around Aiden's finger before, even despite his husband's assurance that the Were had said he wasn't courting anyone. Sebastian had merely assumed that Aiden, like so many others in the world, simply hadn't found his soul mate. How unexpected it was, then, to find Mira upon their doorstep with that same red thread tied ever so neatly around her finger.

"No, she's -- " Aiden's words were abruptly cut off by the sound of a near thunderous crash. The very magnitude of it sent the only just settled dogs into a frenzy, Maxwell barking loudly as Prescott rushed towards Dorian's side, his tail tucked between his legs. That very sound of alarm from his lover's lips immediately prompted Sebastian too to shift towards his husband's side, those protective instincts flaring and yet...the vampire hardly sensed a threat upon his territory. Rather, Sebastian's gaze followed the rest of the party's and towards the rear of the home, those large glass windows in the kitchen providing a vague view of the back garden. He could hardly help that distinctly unimpressed (read: Justin) look that crossed his features at the very sight of that blue Aventador, it's front bumper half-buried in a hedge line as it's front wheels crushed Dorian's flower bed. Debris covered the front of its hood - the vampire's keen sight providing him too with a view of the surprised Matteo in the driver's seat, as if the fae hadn't expected flowers to be in his way. An audible sigh left Sebastian's lips as Aiden's curse broke the silence, his husband so quickly turning his gaze away from the destructive scene as he lamented the decimation of his flowers. "Well...it looks like one bush survived...oh....or..not." The vampire commented, wincing as he watched the driver's side door slam into the rose bush in Matteo's attempt to get out of the car.
