The rumbling sound in the woman's stomach is hardly misheard, though for now the equine sees no need to deal with it. After the mornings training session, perhaps, if the woman manages to impress him he will find her something to eat. Until then, he simply ignores it entirely as he finishes his own meal, offering her the barest of explanations behind his own methods. He can capture some of them, the thoughts within her mind, those relating to himself far stronger then any others, the snowy haired man capturing snippets of thought as they dance around inside her pretty mind, wondering how it was anyone could force an animal so large to do anything.
"They cheat."
That he has answered an unspoken question remains to be seen, Frost seemingly oblivious to the fact she had hardly voiced it aloud and as such his sudden sentence was perhaps misplaced in it's resonation. The scowl she offers as he finishes earns her little more than the quirk of his lip, the barest hint of a chuckle humming within his chest at her words as he moves to stand once more.
"They people who taught it to me had rather an extreme definition too."
It is little more then a murmur, though entirely loud enough for the woman to perceive as he moves to offer her an explanation for last night. Each word is carefully placed as he reconstructs the story, his tale almost entirely true save for the occasional twist upon a detail, subtle though it was. The key to a good lie, he has found, is to keep it almost entirely true and indeed the story he offers seems to support a fair number of the details as they truthfully occurred, adding his own interjection only where necessary as he explains it the vixen. For her part, the woman remains almost entirely silent, her jaw merely clenching in some futile effort to display her moral principles as he offers barely a roll of his eyes at her brief interjection. Wanted her to lie?
"It's hardly a lie Aelxis, it's merely a different version of the truth. I will not explain it to you again."
The manner in which she flinches as he passes hardly goes unnoticed, as if she half expects him to strike her- though perhaps it is not an entirely illogical fear. He had, he supposes, damaged Raven rather significantly in her presence and yet outwardly striking a woman in his human form is perhaps even a step beyond his own temperamental manner. The clothes are tossed towards her haphazardly before he strolls downstairs and out into the yard, waiting for the woman to reappear. He has no intention, this time, of being nearly so harsh with her- despite her reluctance to yield to his own desires that she was willing to actually learn was pleasing in itself, the girl holding far more potential then she truly realised. Indeed, she might actually prove herself useful if she were willing enough to explore her talents fully. His instructions upon her arrival are simple enough, Frost merely leaning back against the tree as he left her to draw, her stick figure person seeing his lip quirk ever so slightly in some vague touch of amusement before the girl abruptly moves to offer him the notepad.
"It's better than I thought, in the least. Not the drawing, that is rather childish- merely you're understanding of it. You can shape your force field then?"
One violet eye lifts ever so slightly, curious now of her answer though he suspects he might already know it. If she could shape her power to fit anyone or anything then that only further added to her skills. One hand lifted briefly to run through the tousled snowy white of his hair, one leg folding over the other as he simply reclined again against the tree.
"You truly have no idea, do you, how to actually use your power? It is significantly more powerful then you realise and while it is defensive in nature it could easily prove to be offensive with a little assistance. Can you project it? By that I mean force it away from you or expand it rapidly outward? Must you be afraid to summon it?"
It had hardly gone unnoticed that, very much like Claire, Alexis seemed only capable of summoning her skill in times of desperate need as opposed to sheer will. Agitating but not impossible to work with. Why so many people allowed their powers to control them he hardly knew.
"I have an idea, but answer the questions first."
