The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.
The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.
Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.
The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. Scarlett Trivale
So try to love me
And i'll try to save you
Scarlett was not an angry creature, but she couldn't deny that recently she had been so angry at the world. When her grandmother had died shortly after her grandfather, she had taken off into the woods where she just screamed and cried at the sky until she collapsed. The only thing she could do was just wonder 'why?' Why did the world have to take away the people she loved, again? She was alone and she was so overwhelmed with emotions that she lost control of her powers, and hadn't been able to completely gain control of them since as her sadness lingered. Despite this, she still remained kind and sweet. Her brightness may have been temporarily dulled, but she would never be mean to another soul.
Nadya's reassuring words did not change the guilt that the wolf felt deep down. Her actions had been rude, regardless of what the panther might say; she had let her fear dictate her future, taking away the possibility of joining a pack. "It's strange, my natural desire is to be with a pack, but I am also intimidated by the idea," she said, her ears still flat back against her skull though her head raised a little bit and her gaze returned to the panther before her. She couldn't be certain if pack life was for her because she had never been in a pack, she hadn't even had the opportunity to be around the Were that bit her and learn from them. She was still so naive to much about her kind, that she perked up at the mention of children.
She perked up though at the mention of children. She hadn't known that Nadya had children, she wasn't even sure how things worked with Weres and having children. "You have children? Are they like you? Can they change into cubs?" she asked with genuine curiosity brimming in her green eyes. Her ears fell back suddenly and she looked away shyly just as suddenly as she had asked the questions. "Sorry, i've just never known these things or really thought about this stuff before." she said innocently, not wanting to push or be too nosy. It showed that she was still learning about Weres, about her species. She hadn't even had the luxury of knowing other Weres after she had been bitten, the fae and witches that had helped her though her first change did not have all the answers that other Weres did.
The wolf was surprised when Nadya offered her some of her kill. She could see the olive branch being held out to her, and for a moment she is hesitant. She always felt guilty when things were offered to her, but this was her chance and so she nodded with a small wolfish smile. "I think I will take you up on your offer, thank you," she says, her belly rumbling at the idea of food as her tail wagged gently behind her once more. She made no motion to move closer though, watching for permission from Nadya and to see what she wanted to do. "I am curious as to how you found a goat out here," she says with light laughter dancing over to the other girls mind. It wasn't exactly natural prey, and the wolf was trying to keep the mood light and pleasant, to ignore the nagging sadness in her; Nadya's presence was helping her to forget.
Scarlett also felt the precipitation beginning to build and drip down from the leaves onto her. "Yes, sorry. It sometimes feeds off my emotions so I can't always control it, but I think I can at least create a break in the clouds for us," she said, her ears flattening as she realized that the clouds were still there because she was still sad. Her gaze traveled to the sky and for a moment she focused really hard, trying to push away her sadness enough to at least put a break in the clouds. After a moment, the clouds above them slowly opened up to let the sun filter back down onto Nadya, but for some reason they stayed above her. It would at least help warm Nadya back up, not that the cold affected the wolf anyway.
