The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.
The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. There was no denying that Tetradore absolutely hated tax season. He had delayed it for as long as possible, even putting in the request for the extension if only because so organizing the things he should report and shouldn't report took effort. Once he'd gathered what finances he knew required some measure of government oversight, seeing Raven wade through every document with such meticulousness was damn unnerving as it was, not to mention seeing to it every financial loophole they could possibly make was found so, at the end of the whole affair, Tetradore had to pay as few taxes as possible, not to mention avoiding the nearly dominating oversight of the government breathing down his neck. He knew well that he might have held this city within his grasp, particularly this specific district but outside those forested trees and over those Cascade Mountains, there existed another world entirely, one in which Tetradore hardly wished to have any interest in his existence. Still, he knew well how it had affected his companion - after all, how could he ignore the yowling of the feline in front of his door or having to chase the man off with papes in his wake. How many pages of taxes had he had to redo purely do to Tobias' discontent?
It was that knowledge of how utterly displeased he was that saw Tetradore suggest the pair take him to the park once they'd finally submitted the last of their veritable novel of paperwork. Finally, he was free from all those terrible numbers and legal loopholes. To be frank, Tetradore needed the release from such mentally taxing work as much as perhaps Tobias needed the room to run. It was, in the end, mutually beneficial. The simple promise they were going somewhere seemed enough to satisfy the spotted feline, Tetradore all too overjoyed to shed that human skin for that short ebony fur. It was moments such as these that he could fully understand how some of their kind might so choose their animal physic and a life of peaceful solitude in the wild over their two legs and opposable thumbs - all because of taxes. Tetradore loped with ease from the Western borders to the quiet cozy Southern parts of town, entirely ignoring any nagging inquiries that were so directed in his direction. Silence, it would seem, was Tetradore's strength when it came to his companion. Nevertheless, his tail flicked behind him in a fashion that was entirely playful, his mood wholly light hearted now that he finally felt some level of freedom from the confines of his office.
The sight of the playground in front of him had been perhaps as much of a delight to Tetradore as it was for Tobias himself, the boy's excitement was near palpable and yet, the ebony feline did his best to remain still, his claws kneading into the rocky pebbles beneath him as Tobias so attempted to explain whatever the newest game he insisted they participate it. He watched as Tobias closed his eyes, the ebony panther so slinking by his companion as he chose a place entirely opposite of what he knew was his companion's natural instinct. The jungle cat remained low to the ground, slinking beneath those ebony platforms to so nestle in the shadows of the lowest platform he could find, his tail still lashing silently behind him. He waited, his emerald eyes so carefully poised upon his companion as Tobias suddenly stopped counting, the feline beginning his hunt, "No powers, Tobias.". He uttered softly for the trio to hear, knowing well his friend's ability to so hunt anything he sought for. He watched in smug silence as the leopard walked on top of his hiding spot, entirely oblivious to his presence before climbing upwards exactly as he anticipated, his weight slamming with a thud onto a plastic tube further above. He took advantage of the sound that left Raven's lips, his powerful hind legs propelling him forward with gravel tossed upwards in his wake, all too much aware that Tobias would give chase. He so effortlessly bounded towards that metal jungle gym, vaulting himself upwards further and further till he so climbed to the top. The panther turned to glance downwards at his companion's, his jaws parted in an entirely victorious roar. Now it was only up to Raven to reach him - wolf better run.
