The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Running through the alleyways during a crisp autumn morning actually felt quite wonderful in a way. Easily she settled herself into a smooth stride, grey paws silently hitting the brick of the road, eventually that hard pavement, and slowly the soft smoothness of the grass. As she loped along the grass her pace would settle into a walk, allowing herself the chance to rest up. After all she had no idea what particular prey he was interested in getting. The very idea that she was hunting for him still felt wrong in a way. It was a struggle to wrap her mind around the thought, wondering if indeed she was doing the right thing and participating. The Fae King didn't mean to offend her, she understood this, and yet it still bothered her all the same. He would need to understand Weres and their thinking, especially since he would most likely be interacting with her pack. After all Sam and Tetradore were attached it was only natural that the Nightshade pack and the Monarchy would become unified in some way, allies, friends, family? Dorian would need to understand how they worked if he was going to not offend anyone. After all the last thing she wanted to see happen was Dorian say something inappropriate in front of her Alpha, like the story of his friend Leonardo having a pet panther. That surely would not go well at all. Quietly the lupine moved within the thicket, easily undetected by the Fae as she peered through to see him sit upon the boulder.
Grey-trimmed ears moved backwards as an uneasy feeling crept up within her. Blue-grey eyes looked over at the equine he had with him. It was not a Were, that she could tell, and yet she was still uncertain with being near it. When she saw equines within the Ark she did her best to steer clear of them. Even though they had never done her wrong or harm, they reminded her of him. The anniversary of him harming her was coming up and even still her confidence wasn't fixed. Raven remained scared of fighting in the ring no matter how much Tobias begged her. She understood this pet horse would stay and yet she wished it wouldn't. Without any hesitation she boldly walked out of the thicket and emerged before the Fae King. She already knew that her pelt would be rather surprising. After all she didn't have the markings of just any normal wolf. Proudly she stood before Dorian, her sharp chiseled ebony skull pointed in his direction, her grey banner swayed side to side in a friendly manner. Her pristine obsidian coat was complemented by the silver markings that helped make her appear not as the others. Along her shoulders and down her side were dragon like wings, her spine being the dragon's spine, as it fell over her haunches and displayed upon her banner. The silver and grey that licked her paws flared up to her ankles like waves of the water or flames of fire. Oh but even her beautiful plet could not hide away the numerous scars that crisscrossed her entire body. Some were jagged, some zig-zagged, some scars were deeper than others. They permanently blazed through her pelt, that anyone that would want her alone to skin her pelt, would be dismayed at the scars that ruined its entire beauty and value. As always the scars that were deeply engraved across her face were prominent even in her wolf form. Blue-grey eyes intently stared upwards at the King as she walked towards him casually, not in a predatory style at all. She had not told him how she would look and so she assumed it was best she ought to 'speak.' Wouldn't it be terrible if she was a different Were and he asked it to hunt. Softly her voice gently pressed into his mind, her voice friendly.
