The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.
The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Kato Buhari
They would have to revisit the strange anomaly of his sudden lack of motion sickness. For now though Kato was intent on the captain's words that they had reached their destination and were finally getting off this blasted thing. Kato remained with his arm protectively wrapped around his girlfriend, sensing her renewed tense anxiety the moment they touched down. He would do anything necessary to keep her safe even putting himself in harms way; which he had already proven their first meeting.
With a soft smile Kato extended his hand for Edie to take. He was nothing if not chivalrous. Kato hefted with ease their large duffel bag over one shoulder as he held Edie's hand with his other hand through the airport. The airport was hardly much different than the one which they flew out of with its little cafes and knick-knack places to kill time and waste money. His attention was taken by it all though; being in a different country simply made him more curious about the people that milled about. He was barely registering what Edie was saying about the train in response to his traveling question. Kato blinked at the sudden halt that Edie made, turning about to face him and press a kiss to his lips. "Well that has to be the best welcome into a country I've had so far." He chuckled as the continued on to the entrance of the building.
Kato's steps only became hesitant the moment he saw the dreary overcast and rain that was beyond the windows of the terminal. This was not going to be a pleasant time was it? The winters in Sacrosanct were already something he despised and spent most of the time holed up. England, as he was now recalling Edie explaining, was like this all the time. When she had spoken of rain he hadn't given it much weight, it rained in Africa after all but it wasn't bone chilling water pelting you like little ice daggers. It was lucky enough for Edie to get Kato to wear anything more than his jeans back home and he only wore a short-sleeved shirt and shoes in addition now. The moment they exited out onto the sidewalk of the airport the cold sent chills over his flesh. Of course he ran hotter than humans but it did very little to protect him against this type of element. "Yes." He gruffed softly at Edie's question. "There's one in the bag." He didn't exactly have many clothes and the only sweater he possessed made him feel constricted and...itched. "I'll be fine. Let's just find this train." Gently he nudged Edie to lead the way as they were now in completely foreign territory for him.
