The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. The University welcomes the talent of students across the world to enroll and unlock their unlimited potential. With applications from across the nation, classes fill up quickly.

Her compliments make me smile sheepishly, my finger twirling in my hair as I try to figure out how to wear these shoes. She looks so natural in them, walking for the all world like she doesn't have shoes on at all. "Yeah, turn to laugh at me as I fall on my ass." I giggle despite myself, alredy picturing the spectacle. I listen to her advice, trying to concentrate on walking on my toes like she said. I bite my lower lip, concentrating as hard as I can but it's still hard. "I hope so. I think my feet are already blistering." I grimace.

She looks surprised at my mention of cars being dangerous. Her eyes practically light up as she talks about the speed but I shake my head. "There's no control, just a tiny wheel you move with your hands. What if the legs decide not to listen?" Of course I don't know to call them tires. I just know that without knowing exactly how the thing works, I don't trust it. At least she manages to distract me by asking about boys. Mischief sparkles in her eyes as she asks about Alexander and I blush, looking out the window. "It's complicated. We don't really have a name for it or anything, but we have been....intimate." I feel my face burning up even as I say the word, biting my lip till I think it's going to start bleeding. I can still recall his lips on my skin so freely, his arms wrapped around me like home.

I look back over when she mentions her boyfriend, giving her my full attention, my own eyes lighting up at the idea of romance and what it can do for you. She seems totally smitten with this Kato guy and I'm already dreaming up a knight in shining armor to match Edie's intelligence, wit, and strength. "I can imagine." I agree as I follow her out of the cab, both awkward and eager to meet this man of her dreams. He sounds perfect. I wonder idly if Alexander would get along with Edie or her boyfriend. Would he even want to meet them or is one were too much to handle? Look at me, already making plans and we're not even, well, ANYTHING, yet. I shake my head at myself. Get your head together, Alexis.

I'm glad that she grabs my hand to pull me to the bar, fully planning on clinging to her as much as is necessary for the rest of the night, at least until I get more comfortable. It's just hard for me to imagine ever being fully comfortable in this environment. I take the drink handed to me and raise a brow at her comment. I don't really know the names of alcohol or anything. I just know that it makes me black out a little and say silly things. Frost and Alexander got to see that firsthand. Smirking at the memory of it, I take a sip and make an "mmm" sound. It is really sweet. "It's really good. What do you call it?" I can't help but ask as I take another sip, albeit a bigger one.
