South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Those large, heavy paws carry the spotted cat silently and yet swiftly though the darkness, Tobias so having abandoned that Ark and that bed the moment Raven had cried herself into sleep. He was loath to leave her, to leave any of them, the volatile creature so having become protective of each and every thing he deemed as belonging to Tetradore in the wake of the mans death. He was protective by nature, that grief that afflicted his own lanky form and too that shift in leadership so seeming to result in the curious behaviour that afflicted the boy now. Tobias so seemingly caught between that grief and too that desire to....lead that pressed upon him. The boy so having shifted into a wholly protective being, watching over that Ark in it's entirety, driven by instinct alone that saw him pace up and down those halls, returning over and over to the bedroom to assure his fractured mind Raven still slept and that Tetradore had not yet returned. His mind so refusing to accept his companions death, Tobias incapable of that understanding- else so it would seem. He can feel Nadya's distress within that pack bond and yet he has not yet learned to reach for her, to summon her as Tetradore had once done, else, perhaps there once equal rank to prevented him summoning her now- that delicate interplay of power that existed between them seeming to prevent him commanding her as he now could those others. At least- not without her submission.

It is hardly that predicament of placement however that so seems to drive the gangly deviant towards her now. He can feel her unease, her stress, Tobias responding to that alone as he has always done, that pack bond uneasy, unsettling to him, his own affinity so extended to find her near instantly as his path adjusts to move towards the south, his own limbs extended to near race towards those trees. He simply desires to reach her though why can hardly be said, his own emotions unknown to him, the boy incapable of perceiving that grief, not truly, the boy understanding merely that he could not find Tetradore, that the lack of his brother and closest of companions was distressing to him in turn, that mere thought of him so stirring within him those feelings he cannot name and cannot understand. This merely frustrating the boy in turn until he is left irritable and confused. His own jaws part at last, a roar of sorts erupting into the darkness, seeking Nadya now, ears pricked forward, listening for her response before his affinity reaches for her again, seeing him turn- pressing deeper into the forest now.

It is that pack bond alone that assures him of her impending closeness, his own form slowing into a lope, parting that shadowy undergrowth to step into the clear, a rumble of greeting rolling within his chest before his head moves to press against her own, brushing against her, seeking that comfort as his tail lashes behind him and he at last pulls away from her, golden eyes flicking about- unfocused this night before he allows those words to press to her mind alone.

Cannot.....find....Tetra. Tobi......cannot find.

Whether the panther before him so truly understood those words remained to be seen, his affinity allow him to find any being in any location....unless that being did not exist. Tobias so attempting to explain with those words alone that which has occurred tonight. His inability to perceive emotions upon himself, let alone others, so seeing the boy continue to stare blankly towards her as if expecting her to understand those words. That she does not, immediately, so seem to understand sees that frustration taint his features once more, the boy so unable to handle that grief that afflicted him in turn, those golden eyes so suddenly seeming to....water once more. He does not understand tears. He cannot name them. Does not know that this is crying and indeed that is, perhaps, near tragic in its own way as he merely stares blankly towards that 'little sister' he had watched over so long.

Sam-an-tha said.....Tetra......die. She says she...saw him.....die. She says......he tried to....fight with.....horse.

His words are pressed to her mind alone, his features, even in that cat form, so seeming to crumple once more in grief. He offers not further words, after all, there is only one horse in this city.

madness, as you know, is like gravity: all it takes is a little push
