I have to admit with a very large body like mine I am shocked that I was actually able to move quick enough to catch her. Gently I move her over to my side, trying to hover her just enough over so she can scurry and be safe on my back. Well, almost safe. She was quite determined to get the apple that was currently rolling down my back and over the side. Before I could try to catch the apple the ginger raccoon tumbled and fell to the ground. Turning my head around and lowering it I try to find her. Although I remain still. My hooves are rather large and I didn't want to squash her and kill her. I just found someone new and I didn't want to cause her any harm.
I can feel her shoving the apple between my legs and I take a tentative step back, trying to keep myself from stepping on her. Looking down I notice she is standing and showing me her apple proudly. With a shake of my head in response to her question, I hover over her and gently snatch her tail again, lifting her up gently and walking around the tree to the other side, showing her the hole in its side. I stick her into the hole, and let her go, knowing she'd be fine in there, and she would see all the apples within it. Happily I respond knowing she would be happy to be surrounded with her treasured fruit.
"Oh, they are all inside here, safe and sound. See?"
